It+be+safe for sb to do sth 对某人来说做某事是安全的

simply adv. 仅仅；只不过 simple adj. 简单的； 简朴的

fear v. 害怕 (1) fear sb/sth =be afraid of sb /sth 害怕某人/物

引导让步状从 whether ...or not 无论...与否
whether .... or ... 无论...还是...; 不管...还是.... ; 是...还是....
eg:I’ll do it whether you like it or not . /or don’t like i t. 无论你喜不喜欢，我都会去做。
引导宾从 ：是否 :在引导并于从句时，有whether 就不用if
eg:I wonder whether it is true or not .我想知道它是否是真的。
whether to do sth 是否该做某事，
eg: I don’t know whether to accept (or not )我不知道是否接受
=I don’t know whether I should accept .
I don’t know whether to accept or refuse .我不知道是接受还是拒绝。
