S(Strengths) 学生在日常生活中,对“自然灾害”话题有一定的了解,同时了解 如地震、火灾、踩踏等简单的逃生方式。 在七年级下学期 U7Poems 的学习中,学生掌握了表达情绪的各类形容词,也在九上的学习中了解如“jump out of one’s skin”等能表达情绪的短语。 学生在听力训练中锻炼了获取关键信息的能力,并且能就话题进行简单的对话。
W(Weakness) 学生虽然对“自然灾害”有所了解,但对“行星撞地球”的话题比 较陌生,对相应的逃生方式知识比较匮乏。 学生从语气、语速等推断情绪的能力比较弱,从人物较多的对话中获取信息,容易出现偏差。 学生可能会过于关注对灾难产生的恐惧心理,缺乏理性冷静对待。
O(Opportunities) 学习本节课,学生能在听力材料中,了解行星撞地球,不同学生将有的 反应,并在他们的对话中感受不同人的不同情绪。学生在 Speaking 学习中,可以在创设的情境下,运用表示勇敢、恐惧、担忧等不同情感的表达方法进行英语对话。

What‘s the main idea of the announcement An earthquake is coming. An asteroid is going to hit the Earth. A great flood will happen.
