1. Review and enable the students to master the meaning and pronunciation of the four new words about food :
water, juice, milk, tea.

1. Enable to make a simple and short conversation about drink with their partners, using the sentence pattern learned in this class and before.
2. Learn the song “Do you like broccoli ”. Sing with the rhythm.

a. Review the words of drink.
Game: Spot the differences
( Show the students two pictures on the screen. Let them find out the differences between them and then circle the differences.)
Matching game
( Teacher presents some pictures about drink, and ask students what are they. Then teacher presents some word cards and let them put the word cards in the right place.)
Read and claps.
(设计意图:在复习上节课所学词汇这一环节,一共用到三个游戏,分别是“大家一起来找茬”,图文连线和拍拍读读。通过学生感兴趣的游戏以及他们的竞争意识,达到预期的复习巩固效果。)
b. Sentences
Teacher asks students for water: “ I talk too much today ! I feel very uncomfortable! Where is the water Can I have water What should I do ”
Then show the video.
Teach the new sentence--I’m thirsty.

Pay attention to the word “thirsty”.
Game: Relay game.
Toy train.(使用“接力”游戏练习此单词,可以很好的检测每个学生的发音情况。)
Step4 Practice
Present a picture of Catherine’s home. Then listen to the dialogue between Catherine and her friend Ruby. Students make dialogues with their desk mates.
Pair work to make a short conversation with your friend. Then perform on the stage. Give the best pair rewards.
