[探究1 状语从句
一、定义:
在复合句中充当主句的状语的句子,即状语从句。
二、作用
用以修饰主句中的动词、形容词或副词,状语从句的位置可放在句首,也可放在句尾。
三、种类
状语从句是由从属连词引导的,按其作用主要可分为以下几类:
1.时间状语从句
连词:when/while/as当……时;since自从;
until/till直到;as soon as一……就……
I was doing my homework when he came in.
他进来的时候我正在做作业。
2.条件状语从句
连词:if如果;unless除非;as long as只要
We'll go to see you if we're free.
我们如果有空的话,就去看你。
3.原因状语从句
连词:because/for因为;since既然;as由于
Since everyone is here, let's begin the meeting.
既然大家都到齐了,就开始会议吧
4.目的状语从句
连词:so that以便于;in order that为了……
Please speak slowly so that we can follow you.
请你说慢点,以便我们能跟上。
5.结果状语从句
连词:so/such…that…如此……以于……
We got up so late that we missed the early bus.
我们起床如此晚,以至于我们错过了早班车。
6.让步状语从句
连词:although/though尽管
The air is around us, though we can't see it.虽然我们看不见空气,但它就在我们周围。
7.比较状语从句
连词:less…than不如……;as…as同……一样;
not so/as…as不如……
It was much better than I'd expected.

8.地点状语从句
连词:where在……的地方;wherever在任何地方

1.when引导的从句,谓语动词可以是延续性的,也可以是非延续性的;while引导的从句,谓语动词是延续性的,且多与________ 连用。如:
When the earthquake broke out, all the students were having class.地震发生时,所有的学生正在上课。
Father was preparing a report while I was play ing games.
爸爸正在准备报告时,我正在玩游戏。
进行时
2.until/till用于肯定句中时,主句谓语动词必须是__________动词;但用于否定句时,即用not…until…结构时,主句谓语动词为____________动词。
3.until/till, as soon as引导的时间状语从句和if/unless引导的条件状语从句用____________,主句用______________。

分类 构成 例句
否定 结构 not+不定式 He told us not to play here.他告诉我们不能在这里玩。
复合 结构 for/of sb.+不定式 It was really kind of you to help me.你帮我的忙,我太感激了。
特殊 结构 特殊疑问词(what, how, where, when, which等)+不定式 I don't know how to tell you the news.
