put on 意为“穿上；戴上”，指穿、戴的动作；是“动词＋副词”结构的短语，当宾语是代词时，要用代词的宾格形式，并且放在put和on之间。
dress (1)可用作动词，意为“给……穿衣服”。dress sb. 意为“给某人穿衣服”；dress oneself 意为“某人自己穿衣服”；dress up 意为“穿上盛装”。(2)dress还可用作名词，意为“连衣裙”，是可数名词。
be in 后跟颜色或“颜色＋服装”，表示“穿着某种颜色的衣服”。
