[探究] practise的意思是“练习，训练”，也有“从事，执业”的意思。在美国英语用practice，用作及物动词时后面可接名词、动名词，但不是接不定式。
[辨析] practise与exercise
practise practise 实习，实践。指有规律的练习，特指反复练习，不断练习。
例如：The players will meet for a practise in the morning. 运动员们在早上一起训练。
exercise exercise是练习，一般用语，可指训练，锻炼，运动等。

You should give him a piece of advice at least.
你应该至少给他一条建议。
[探究] advice意为“劝告，建议，意见”为不可数名词。可以说 a piece of advice 或 some advice，但不能说 an advice 或 advices。_________ 是 advice 的动词形式。

[辨析] advice与suggestion
advice advice是不可数名词，表示“一条建议”用a piece of advice,“一些建议”是some advice。例如：I’ll give you some advice. 我要给你些忠告。
suggestion suggestion则是可数名词，表示“一条建议”用a suggestion，“一些建议”是some suggestions, “许多建议”是many suggestions。
例如：Do you have any suggestions 你有什么建议吗？

[观察3] Don't forget to write down the correct answers next to the mistakes. 不要忘记把正确答案写在所犯错误的旁边。
I forgot opening the window. 我忘记开过窗户了。
[探究] forget意为“忘记，遗忘”，forget to do sth.表示“忘记要做某事（说明事情还未做）”。forget doing sth. 表示“忘记做过某事（说明事情做了但是忘了）”。
[拓展] 与forget有相同用法的有：
remember to do sth. 记得要去做某事
remember doing sth. 记得做过某事
stop to do sth. 停下去做另外一件事
stop doing sth. 停下来正在做的事情
regret to do sth. 做某事很遗憾
regret doing sth. 后悔做了某事
[注意] 不能用 forget 表示把东西放在某地忘拿了，而要用动词 leave。例如：
I left my bag on the bus. 我把包落在了公交车上。
