一、形容词的比较级(二)和副词比较级
1．多音节形容词和部分双音节形容词的比较级
多音节形容词和部分双音节形容词前要加________来构成比较级。
careful→more careful
dangerous→more dangerous

2．注意事项
(1)进行比较的两个人或事物必须属于同一类， 非同类的人或事物一般不能进行比较，否则容易造成逻辑错误。
冬天，长春比广州冷。
误： In winter the weather of Changchun is colder than Guangzhou.

(2)进行比较时，切忌一方包含另一方，从而造成自身与自身的比较。

二、副词
1．副词的种类及作用
英语中的副词一般分为时间副词、地点副词、方式副词、程度副词等几类，在句子中主要用来修饰动词、形容词或副词等。修饰动词时，副词一般放在动词之后。
He is reading English aloud.他正在大声地读英语。

2．副词的构成
英语中的副词多数是由形容词加后缀转化而来的。
(1)直接在形容词后加 ly。
slow→slowly careful→carefully
(2)以“辅音字母＋y”结尾的形容词，把y变为i，再加 ly。
happy→happily noisy→noisily easy→easily

(3)一些副词形式上和形容词相同，有些可以加 ly构成别的词。
fast adj. 快的→fast adv. 快地
early adj. 早的，提前的→early adv. 提早，提前
hard adv. 努力地→hardly adv. 几乎不
late adv. 迟地→lately adv. 近来
