教学步骤
Welcome to the unit
Step 1 Greeting
教师跟学生打招呼,“Hello,everyone.”“Hello, Ms Wu.”。
教师提问:“Where are you from Where do you live”.
学生回答:“I am from Wuzhou .I live in Longxu. ”教师多提问一些学生。
Step 2 Leading
利用微课进行导入。
教师提问“Do you want to know where Ms Wu live”“Yes.”学生回答。
教师播放微课的微视频。老师的声音阐述,视频中展示老师家附近的一些建筑物及其方位的表达。既可以展示这节课的重点也能吸引学生的注意。
Step 3 呈现
微课后,在多媒体上呈现一幅地图,与学生谈论方向。
呈现准备好的方向图标,帮助学生确认方向,并将四个方向south east north west 放在箭头所指的方向上,让学生跟读。然后再标出 south-east, north-west, south- west, north-east 四个方向,确保学生掌握其读音和词义。
Step 4 游戏
猜方向 锻炼学生反映, 提问个别学生。
In autumn,birds fly to ______.
In spring, birds fly back to ______.
The sun rises in ______ and goes down _______.
Step 5小组活动 Who is the winner
1.教师展现多张图片,根据箭头的指示方向,如何找到相关人物。
2.多媒体上展示“奔跑吧 兄弟”的图片,教师提问“If you are Running Man , what will you do Can you rescue Baby ”学生很感兴趣 “Yes . We Can.” So let’s come up a way to save baby.
3.八个小组都拿到迷宫图,进行小组讨论,如何找出路线图。各小组进行抢答,学生代表走上讲台用刚学到方向的词来表达路线,并在白板上画出该小组讨论出来的路线。
Step 6 句型的操练
教师提问 “Do you like travelling May Day is coming. Are you planning a nice trip ”
教师通过这一提问,以图片为导入,通过各地景点的方位,引出句型的学习。
For Example:
We can go to Sanya for enjoying the sunshine and beach. Where is Sanya
学生回答: “It’s south of Guangxi.”
教师通过不同地点的图片进行提问。
句型学习
通过图片 俄罗斯与中国的位置 Russia is north of China.
教师通过多媒体展示一张学校附近的地图,圈出最明显的地标建筑,提问学生。
For example:
“Where is Fozi Restaurant ” “It’s west of our school.”
“Where is hospital” “It’s north of our school.”
Step 7 Let’s go on a trip A部分
◆Sunshine Zoo is north of Sunshine Middle School.
◆Sunny Garden is west of the zoo.
◆Lake Park is south of Sunny Garden.
◆Sunshine Park is east of Lake Park.
通过刚才对句型的学习,学生以小组形式进行讨论。找出这四个地点。
小组进行抢答,学生代表上来,在白板上标出地点的位置。
学生回答“I think Sunshine Park is here.Because Sunshine Zoo is north of Sunshine Middle School.”
Step 8 Let’s go on a trip B部分
Listen to the tape firstly and the answer the questions.

Let’s make a conversation. 以大润发超市为例子 进行对话
Da Runfa Supermarket east 7 kilometres by car
A: Where are we going for our class trip
B: We’re going to …
A: Where’s the … Is it far away from our school?
B: No. It’s east of our school, about … kilometres away.
A: How will we get there
B: We’ll get there by ...
Work in pairs 学生进行小组操练 并上讲台展示对话成果。
Step 8 Comic trip
Eddie and Hobo will go on a trip. Watch it and answer .
Does Hobo really know the way Hobo 真得认得路吗?
Do you think they will have a good trip 同学们你们认为他们旅途会愉快吗?
NO! They are lost. 他们迷路了!
Step 9 Summary
When we are lost, with the help of others, we can find our way.
当我们迷路的时候,在他人的帮助之下,我们会找回自己的路。
We have to spend our whole life to look for our own direction.
我们能在45分钟内学会了方向,然而我们要花很长的时间找对自己人生的正确方向。
