Grammar
一般过去时表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态，也表示过去经常或反复发生的动作。
一般过去时
1. 定义：
2. 时间状语：
一般过去时常与表示过去时间的词语连用，如yesterday, the day before yesterday, last night /week, three days ago, just now, a moment ago, in 2021等。
(1) be动词的过去式：am，is的过去式是was；are
的过去式是were。
3. 构成
(2) 实义动词用其过去式。
1. 直接在词尾加-ed。
3. 重读闭音节，双写词尾加-ed。
动词过去式变化规律：
2. 以不发音的e结尾的词，直接加-d。
4. 辅音字母加-y结尾的词，变-y为-i，再加-ed。
