Task 1
【组内小展示】
先由各小组组长带领组内成员认读单词和词组,再在整个小组内进行齐读后对词汇的用法进行归纳,并标记出发音和理解困难的词汇,可及时向老师求助。最后,板书展示内容。

Task 1 Let's read new words and the phrases.

(3)sound stupid. 听起来愚蠢

Nobody wanted to sound stupid.
Sound此处为系动词,意为 “听起来”。其后常跟形容词作表语。常见短语sound like,意为 “听起来像……”,后跟名词、短语或句子。如:
Paris sounds like a city that I like.巴黎听起来像是我喜欢的城市。
【拓展】常见 “感觉”类连系动词:look(看起来),feel(摸起来),smell(闻起来),sound(听起来)等。后跟形容词或名词。
助记连系动词: “是”be;“感”feel;“保持”keep;“起来四”是指look(看起来), sound(听起来),taste(尝起来),smell(闻起来);“好像”是指 “seem”;“变了仨”是指get,turn和become。

A:Well, the brothers kept everything for themselves.They told the emperor that people couldn't see the clothes unless they were clever.Nobody wanted to sound stupid, so everyone said the new clothes were wonderful.But suddenly a young boy shouted.” Look! The emperor isn't wearing any clothes! ”

Once upon a time, an emperor loved new clothes very much! One day, two brothers came to the city and made special clothes for the emperor.They asked for much gold and silk, but they kept them for themselves.They pretended to work for a long time every day.Then at last, the special clothes were OK.But nobody could see it.But no one said it until one young boy shouted that the emperor wore nothing.
