教学内容 The unit talks about how to find the way. Where is a place How to get to the place Can you describe the route Are you familiar with the useful expressions This lesson lets students think about how to tell the way and write an invitation letter.
教学对象 The students of Grade Seven seldom contact with the writing, using the notices to collect the information and give the guidance of a student in the writing ability. So at the beginning, I ask students to go through the information about the way to a place and try to describe the way and invite friends to a party with their own words. When reading the model passage, focus on finding out what each part is about and seize the key words in the sentence and the topic sentence in paragraphs.
教学目标 Ask students to read Suzy’s invitation letter, and take notice of the information you need. Teach them to have a clear structure of writing and organize ideas Complete a passage about how to get to Suzy’s home and how to write an invitation letter.
教学策略 1. To learn to use a map to tell the way to a place. 2. Lead in the lesson by introducing the way to our school. 3. To take Suzy’s writing as an example; let students know how to write an invitation letter and how to tell the route correctly.

Write alone with the certain topic, especially learn from the model passage and pay attention to your grammar mistakes. Make students have the idea of how to write an invitation letter and tell more details. Gather the information he/she needs Review the main points of this unit.
