What will the future of Chinese be like
As you can see, there are 800 million people speaking Chinese in China. What’s more, about 150 million people speak Chinese outside China. And they are mainly in Singapore, Malaysia, and Chinese communities all over the world. Many schoolchildren in the UK and the USA are learning Chinese as one of their foreign languages.
So what will the future of Chinese be like Surely it will become an important international language. And hopefully everybody will speak it.
