Li Yangtian, 13 　　I don’t think it’s necessary(必要的) for primary school(小学) students to do homework. First, primary school students are still very young. Many of them stay up late to finish their homework. This is quite unhealthy and will make students lose interest in school. Second, students need more time to learn different skills, such as cooking and drawing. They should be given more free time.
Wang Xiaomao, 14 　　I don’t think students in Grades 1 to 3 should do homework. Students at these ages should take up hobbies like dancing, drawing, and playing football. But students in Grades 4 to 6 should have some homework. Even after taking up some hobbies, we should still find time to do something more important. We should get good grades on our lessons and be able to go to the best middle school in our city.
