1. Why don’t you do sth. 这是给别人提建议, 建议某人做什么事情的句型。 e.g. Why don’t we come more often
咱们为什么不经常来这里呢 e.g. Why don’t you buy a book for your father
给你爸爸买本书怎么样? 这个句子还可以写成Why not do… e.g. Why not get her a camera
为什么不给她买个相机呢? 这个句型还有发出礼貌地邀请的用法。 Why don’t you have a drink of tea 请喝茶。

2. How/What about… 表示“……怎么样/好吗?” 这个句型是询问听话这一方对某事物的看法或者
意见。about是个介词, 它后面要接名词或者doing。 e.g. How about his playing football

3. could和should都可以用来表示建议或劝 告,前者比后者在语气上更加婉转、客气。 could意为“可以” should意为“应该;应当”。

—我需要些钱来支付(参加)夏令营的费用。
—你应该/可以向你的哥哥借一些钱。
表建议的句型:

Summary
B. although / though
although的意思是“尽管,虽然”,用来引导让步状语从句,在一般情况下可以和though互换,但though比较口语化。而although较为正式,另外although的语气比though重。当although / though引导的从句放在句首时,主从句之间要用逗号隔开。
Notice:although和though都不能和but在同一个复合句里连用。
e.g. The tomato is in fact a fruit, although it is eaten
as a vegetable.
C. so that
so that 用来引导目的状语从句, 意思为“以便, 为了”, 从句中常用can (could), will (would), may (might)等情态动词。so ... that ...用来引导结果状语从句。
until可用作时间连词, 用来谈论事情发生的时间。until表示"直到…...为止"。用来引导时间状语从句, 在句中可以放在主句之前或之后。
