教学目标
1.知识目标:
(1)能听、说、认读一些常见的动物单词:bear、bird、cat、dog、duck、elephant、monkey、mouse、pig 。
(2)能根据指令模仿动物做出相应的动作。
(3)能掌握三个字母Pp、Qq、Rr的读音以及书写。
2.能力目标:能用英语表达一些常见的动物,了解他们的外貌特征、生活技能、生活习性,能根据指令模仿动物的动作,并能掌握三个字母的书写。
3.情感目标:
(1) 在教学过程中激发学生的学习兴趣,在运用中体会学习的快乐。
(2) 通过对课文的学习,鼓励学生勇敢与人沟通,养成大胆表达自己、乐于与人交往的性格。
(3) 培养学生热爱大自然,保护动物的意识。
学情分析
本课的教学对象是三年级的学生,年龄为8-9岁左右。该班学生英语基础比较好,对学习英语有着浓厚的兴趣,英语课堂活跃,能积极参与到课堂的活动中。经过了两年的英语学习,他们能够听懂一般的课堂用语;能运用所学的句型和单词进行简单的英语交流;积累了一定的词汇量,包括一些简单的动物。前三个单元中,学生已经掌握了打招呼,五官以及颜色等相关方面的知识。这些知识都将为本节课的教学做了很好的铺垫。由于学生在一、二年级已经学习了大部分的动物单词,所以本节课我把A.let’s learn和B.let’s learn的内容结合在一起,再增加了字母的学习,对学习的内容做了知识的整合。
重点难点
(1)能掌握动物单词:bear、bird、cat、dog、duck、elephant、monkey、mouse、pig并能根据指令模仿动物做出相应的动作。
(2) 能掌握三个字母Pp、Qq、Rr的读音以及书写。
(3) 如何在语篇中去理解语言,输入语言,用英语介绍自己喜欢的动物。

【导入】Warm－up and preview
Step One: Warm-up
1.Greetings : T: Good morning, boys and girls. How are you today Boys and girls, it’s time for English class. Let’s have fun. Let’s sing a song: ABC song.
2.Let’s chant: (播放 flash文件)T:You sing very well. Do you like animals Let’s chant together.
An elephant can walk. Walk, walk, walk.
A frog can jump. Jump, jump, jump.
A fish can swim. Swim, swim, swim.
An egg can roll. Roll, roll, roll.
(通过节奏轻快的歌曲和歌谣,既复习了有关动物的知识,又活跃了课堂的气氛,拉近了师生关系。学生迅速地进入了课堂学习的状态中。)
Step Two: Preview
1.头脑风暴:Look can say.
T: You can sing and chant so well. I like animals, too. What animals do you know
S1:Rabbit, mouse……
S2: Duck, dog……
T: Now, look at the words and try to read out.
(Students read out the words quickly.)
(头脑风暴为学生后面的学习做了一个充分的铺垫。学生很好地激发了原有的
知识,增强了说话的欲望。)

Step Three: Presentation
1. 呈现森林的场景,让学生在情景中学习。
T: Boys and girls, there are many animals in the forest. Do you want to go to the forest
S: Yes.
T: Let’s go! (在课件上出现了一幅图片:一个森林的背景,一辆火车,让学生体验真实的生活场景,激发学生学习的兴趣。)
2.引出新单词。
(1)学生整体感知语言。
T: What can you see in the forest
S: I can see a rabbit, a pig……
(2) Learn the word:
bear、bird、cat、dog、duck、elephant、monkey、mouse、pig
(3) Learn “Let’s do”: Act like a …Swim like a … Climb like a …
Walk like a …Hunt like a … Jump like a …
(4) 学生表演Let’s chant的指令动作。.
3.Learn the word“panda”.
(1) Show the picture of panda. Students read the word one by one.
Panda, panda. Act like a panda.
(2) Let’s know more about panda.
教师呈现单词的相关信息:
This is a panda. It’s black and white. It can climb. It likes bamboo.
(学生在学习单词的过程中学习了基本的句型,获得了有关动物的外形,能力和生活习性。)
(3) Teacher writes the word on the blackboard and show how to write the letter“P”.(学生书空字母P)
(4) 引导学生观察字母P的占格情况和如何正确书写大小写该字母。
4.Using the same way to learn the word“squirrel”.
I have a squirrel. It’s brown. It has a long tail. It can jump. It likes nuts.
5. Using the same way to learn the word“rabbit”.
It’s a rabbit. It’s cute. It has two long ears. It can jump. It likes carrots.
(由于考虑到学生在一、二年级的时候已经学过大部分的单词,所以在本节课进行知识的整合。只重点学习panda, squirrel和rabbit三个单词以及增加三个字母P、Q、R的书写教学。)

Step Three: Practice
1.Read the text together.
(教师播放Let’s chant的录音,学生跟读。)
2. Exercises for students.
(学生完成有关字母的书写和首字母填空的练习。)
3.教师投影练习纸,更好地检查和发现学生的错误。
4.Game for words and letters: Can you read
Words: bear、bird、cat、dog、duck、elephant、monkey、mouse、pig、panda、squirrel、rabbit.
Letters: Pp、Qq、Rr.
Sentences: I have a dog. This is a mouse. I like cats. This is a bear. It has big eyes.
(不同类型的复习让学生有足够的输入,为后面的活动做准备。)
4.Game for practicing“Let’s do”.
Act like a panda. Act like a rabbit.……
(活动目的:让学生在说说唱唱中进入学习状态,活跃课堂气氛,对引入
的新语言知识做了巩固和总结,起到了承上启下的作用;使学生动脑、动口、动手,对所学的知识更深刻。)

1. Guess the riddles.
(1)It is brown. It has a long tail. It can climb. It likes bananas. What animal is it
(2)It is big. It has a long nose. It has two big ears. It can walk. What animal is it
(3) It is green. It is small. It can jump. It likes mosquitoes.What animal is it
(根据本课的单词为学生编造谜语,让学生在猜测的过程中最大程度地吸收到更多的语言,增强语篇的教学,提高阅读能力。)
2.小组合作给动物分类。
(1) T: Today we learn so many animals. Some animals can walk. Some animals can fly. Some animals can swim. Please help them find their home.
(2)小组合作完成任务。学生在小组里把动物分别张贴在合适的位置上。
(3) 请一个小组把动物贴上黑板上,教师检查正确与否。
(4) 各小组进行成果展示。
Fish can swim. Birds can fly. Elephant can walk.
(本环节让学生给动物分类,学生更好地了解了动物的习性和生活技能,培养学生的创新思维,学生在小组里共同完成任务,有利于培养他们团结协作的精神。)
3. Share your favourite animal.
(1) Teacher shares her favourite animal.
Look! This is a squirrel. It ’s brown. It’s small. It has a long tail. It can jump.
I like squirrels.
(2) Students share their favourite animals in the group.
(3) Show time: students share it in class.
(通过教师的示范,学生对任务清晰而且感兴趣。他们都有自己喜欢的动
物,在小组里对所学语言进行拓展。学生在轻松愉快的氛围中掌握英语,激发学生的学习兴趣,并做到学以致用。)

Step Five: Homework
1.认读并练习书写三个字母:Pp、Qq、Rr。
2.完成练习纸上的第三题练习。
3.在英语书或其他课外书上找找你会用英语说的动物,说给家长听。
(让学生把知识运用到实际生活中,让他们寻找生活中的动物,可以把所学知识运用到生活当中来,还可以培养学生的交际能力。)
