基数词：表示数目多少的词叫基数词。
序数词：表示先后顺序的词叫序数词。

基数词的用法
两位数的表示方法：整十数+个位数。这些数中间用连字符-连接。

三位数的表示方法：整百数 and 整十数-个位数

524 five hundred and twenty-four
1000以上的数字
1000 one thousand
3000 three thousand

序数词的用法
一般在前面加上the，但当序数词前面有物主代词等修饰时，不加the。
December is the twelfth month of the year. 十二月是一年中的最后一个月。
It’s her ninth birthday today. 今天是她九岁的生日。
序数词前可以加上不定冠词a或者an， 用来表示“再一；又一”。
I can have a third try. 我可以再试一试。
数词的其他用法
分数、倍数、小数和百分数的表示。
①分数：基数词/序数词（分子大于1时，分母用序数词的复数形式表示）。
One half 1/2 one third 1/3 two thirds 2/3 three fourths 3/4
②倍数：两倍用twice，三倍及三倍以上用“基数词+times”。
He gets twice as much pocket money as me. 他得到的零花钱是我的两倍。
The library is three times the size of ours. 这个图书馆是我们的那个图书馆的三倍。
③小数：小数点以前的数，用基数词的读法读出，小数点以后的数，将数字一一读出，小数点读作point。

④百分数：百分数中的百分号，读作percent。

年月日的表示法
①年的表示法:
1949 nineteen forty nine或者nineteen hundred and forty-nine
1902 nineteen zero two 或者 nineteen hundred and two
2008 two thousand and eight
②月的表示：in+某月
in June 在六月
③表示某年某月用介词in，表示某年某月某日用介词on。
in August 2017 读作 in August, twenty seventeen
on November 23, 1996 读作 on November twenty-third, nineteen eight-six
时刻的表示
①表示整点时，用一个基数词表示。
6:00 six o’clock
10:00 ten o’clock
②表示半点时：half + past+钟点数或钟点数+thirty
4:30 half past four或four thirty
6:30 half past six 或six thirty
③表示几点几分时：钟点数+分钟数
9:05 nine five
9:40 eight forty
④past和to在表示几点几分时的用法：
分钟数<30分钟：分钟数+past+钟点数
11:15 a quarter past eleven 或 fifteen past eleven
10:20 twenty past ten
分钟数>30分钟：分钟数+to+下一个钟点数
8:50 ten to nine
1:45 a quarter to two或 fifteen to two

［思路指导］句意：今天是她九岁的身体，所以她很早就起来了。本次为改错题。做题思路为：先将A、B、C、D各个选项逐一分析。Today和is是对应的，she是第三人称单数，后面的动词get加s，也没有问题。问题出在B，第九要在nine的基础上去e加th。
