人教版新起点六年级上册Unit 3 Lesson1 Animal World 教学设计
1、 教材分析
本课是人教版小学英语六年级上册第三单元第一课时。单元话题是有关动物世界及表达喜欢的小动物的句子。借助Get ready部分图片和对话录音,情景化地呈现本课的目标词,让学生通过看、听、标号等途径来感知并学习这些词。B部分通过游戏和活动,帮助学生操练词汇,并体会词汇在交际情境中的运用。C部分是学生根据语境和自己的实际情况,使用恰当的单词填空。
二、学情分析
本课的学习者是六年级学生。六年级学生对英语学习兴趣整体有所下降,两极分化现象比较严重。教学中,教师应该面向全体学生,始终把激发学生的兴趣放在首位,注重小组合作,为学生创造情境,引导学生在情境中运用语言。还要注重引导学生端正学习态度,掌握良好的学习方法,培养良好的学习习惯和创造性运用语言的意识。
3、 教学思路
引导学生在语境中理解、学说对话,在情景中巩固、运用对话的功能句。教学活动设计从学说、操练到运用,层层递进,在滚动复现中实现巩固与内化,运用与提升。同时,注意活动安排的循序渐进,从逐个句型操练到对话操练,再由对话操练到自由创编,重视生生之间的交流,在交流运用中提高学生的语言表达能力。
4、 教学目标
1、 能够听懂、会说有关动物的词汇: reptile, insect, penguin, bird, fish, mammal, shark, whale八个单词。
2、 能够使用学过的句型对话:What animals do you like I like…/ They are…/ They can…
3、 能够根据上下文用恰当的词汇和短语填空。
4、 德育渗透:教育学生要树立爱护动物,人与动物和谐共处的意识。

1、教学重点:能够听懂、会说有关动物的词汇: reptile, insect, penguin, bird, fish, mammal, shark, whale八个单词。
2、教学难点:能够使用学过的句型对话:What animals do you like I like…/ They are…/ They can…

七、教学过程
(一)Warm up
1. Greeting
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
S: Good morning, Miss Zhou.
T: Nice to meet you.
S: Nice to meet you, too.
2. Sing a song.
T:Now, let’s sing a song together.(播放歌曲,给学生营造一个轻松的英语学习氛围。)
3. Ask five students introduce their favourite cities.
S1:Hello,everyone! I’m … This is Hangzhou. It’s in the east of China. It’s famous for West Lake and Longjing tea. [设计意图:每节课的英语口语展示时间,即可以复习学过的知识,还可以充分调动学生的积极性,给学生一个表现自我的平台,提高学生的口语表达能力。]
(二)New Lesson Teaching
1. T: Today let’s learn’ Unit 3 Lesson 1 Animal World’ . We know there are so many animals in the animal world. What animals do you like
S: I like dogs / cats / pandas/ butterflies…
2. Ask two students to report their preview contents.(请两名学生借助投影片汇报预习成果)
S1: reptiles n.爬行动物;爬虫 birds n. 鸟类;鸟;禽 fish n. 鱼;鱼肉;鱼类
mammals n. 哺乳动物 insects n. 昆虫
S1:Now,let’s say together. I point one word, you say together. Thank you!
S2: 大家好!我给大家展示一下我的预习成果。请大家跟我读: reptile, reptile
指爬行前进的动物,如;龟、蛇、蜥蜴等。bird指鸟类,会飞的,但是鸵鸟和企鹅例外,它们虽然有翅膀但是不会飞。fish指海洋生物,但是也有一些例外。鲸鱼虽然是海洋生物,但不是鱼类。mammal 指哺乳动物,一般指生活在陆地上的。insect是昆虫,它分为两类,一类是爬虫,一类是飞虫。爬虫有蜗牛和毛毛虫;飞虫有蝴蝶和蜻蜓。penguin企鹅,它们虽然有翅膀但是不会飞,它们的翅膀是用来滑水的。shark鲨鱼,它的嘴巴后面有三道腮。whale鲸,它是生活在海洋里的哺乳动物。下面请大家跟我一起读单词reptile,bird,fish,mammal… Thank you!
[设计意图:课前布置预习作业,目的是培养学生的自学与预习能力,学生通过自己查找资料学习单词并制作幻灯片,在课堂上给大家讲解,充分发挥学生的主体作用,学生的语言表达能力得到提升。]
3. Listen and number.
T: Now turn to page 24, let’s do listen and number. (听录音标号,检测学生的预习结果。)
4. Say the words and stick them on the blackboard.
First, the teacher shows some word cards and let students try to say them quickly. Then, the teacher shows some animal pictures, if the student can say it quickly, she/ he can stick the picture on the blackboard.[设计意图:教师出示单词卡片和小动物图片,进一步复习巩固新单词,贴动物图片是帮助学生正确区分动物的种类。]
(三) Practice
1. Watch the video and try to repeat the dialogue.
T: Today, the teacher takes her students to the zoo, they are talking about the animals.
2. Role-read.(两个人一组分角色配音)
3. Act out the dialogues. (小组合作创设情境表演对话)

[设计意图:通过观看课件让学生初步感知get ready部分的对话内容,再次听音跟读、分角色配音、小组合作创设情境带着自己喜欢的小动物图画表演等环节,循序渐进,由易到难,使学生对课文对话有更深层次的理解,学生也树立了合作学习的意识。]
4. Listen to the dialogue of Park B, then try to repeat.
T: Now listen to the tape, what are they talking What animals do they like
Students read and act out the dialogue.
5. Say the chant together.(在欢快的韵律中,齐说歌谣,放松心情,气氛融洽。)
(四) Consolidation and extension
1. Choose and write.
1) 学生自己阅读句子,然后用恰当的单词填空。

Penguins are ______. But they cannot fly. They can swim.
2)同桌检查,核对答案。
3)全班核对答案。
[设计意图:此活动培养学生认读,理解和书写的能力。]
2. Play a guessing game.
T: Look at the slideshow. Now you can read the sentences and try to guess what animal it is.
Eg: They are insects. They can fly and they are beautiful. (butterflies)
They are birds, but they can’t fly. They live on the ice. ( penguins)
They are reptiles. They are long and cold. (snakes)
They are fish. They are big. They like to eat small animals in the sea. (shark)

3. Ask students try to write a riddle and let others guess.
S1:They are birds, but they can speak. They are beautiful.

S2: They are mammals. They are white. They can eat grass.
S: They are sheep.
S3:They are mammals. They have big ears and long nose.
S: They are elephants.
S4: They are insects. They are very small. They like flowers.
