教材分析
本课是北师大版《初中英语》八年级上册第三单元,话题是“节日”。本课是本单元的第一课,在承接Get Ready部分有关“Festival and Holidays”话题的基础上,本课主要介绍Grace在北京过春节的情况。本课的教学主要分成两个课时,本节课是第一课时,侧重对课文的理解,首先通过头脑风暴的形式激发学生已有的知识:一年中的主要节日。然后利用猜谜游戏引入中国传统节日---春节,以及春节人们都有哪些活动。接着通过阅读了解Grace在北京过春节的文章大意和细节信息---Grace在除夕当天的各种活动,以及Grace当时的感受。本节课主要渗透现在完成时的疑问句的相关知识,主要引导学生理解现在完成时的语用功能。
教学目标
在本课学习结束时,学生能够:1、认读有关节日名称及相关活动的词汇2、通过阅读找出Grace在北京过春节时的各种活动信息,并能根据上下文猜测生词的含义。3、了解全国各地人们欢度春节的传统文化。
