Lesson14 It's a pineapple.
教材分析:In this unit, the topic is “fruit”. The topic of this lesson is related to fruit, so it is helpful to raise learning interests of students.
学习目标
1. 知识目标:Learn to talk about fruit. Such as banana, orange, watermelon and kiwi fruit.
2. 能力目标:Students are able to work with partners to ask about fruit. 3. 情感目标:Let the students eat more fruit,such as banana and kiwi fruit.
教学重点与难点:Learn some words about fruit and ask something near you or far away from you.
教学过程
I. Warm-up/ Revision
Greeting: Hello. I’m your new English teacher.You can call me Miss Tang or Tangtang. Do you like apple Do you like lemon Which fruit do you like Do you like pineapple Today we’re going to learn Lesson14 It’s a pineapple.
Let’s review some fruit.(Show cards:apple pear lemon pineapple)
Play a game: Ss read the words where the pointer points to.Choose one student to be a teacher ,ask“What’s this ”Ss read fruit words.
II. Presentation
Learn the new words: Teacher take a box,Ss guess “What’s in it ”(banana,orange,watermelon,kiwi fruit)
Read after the video,then spell the words and learn to write them.(banana,orange)Read the words:watermelon,kiwi fruit.(Show cards)
Play a game: Read the new words where the magic finger points to.Then let some Ss to be a magic finger,points to the new words.Other Ss read after the magic finger.
Sing a song:Fruit Song
III. Pair-work
Listen to the video,then answer a question. Listen and repeat after the video.(read twice)
Ss read after the teacher.Ss read after some Ss.
Learn the words: this, that. Ler 2 Ss come here.(通过距离区分this,that. this:近距离 that:远距离)Teacher ask“ What’s this ” “What’s that ”(通过展示水果卡片)
Give Ss 1 minute to practice the dialogue by themselves.
Role-play the dialogue: Divide Ss into 2 groups to act it out.
Ss practice the dialogue with their partners,then act it out. Some ss evaluate them.
Make a new conversation:Ss use cards to practice new dialogues,then act it out.
IV. Sum up
Let Ss read what they have learned today.
Homework
1. Write banana,orange:each word for 5 times
2. Use“What’s that ”to ask your parents or friends sth. far away from them.
