教学指导思想与理论依据
【指导思想】 《英语课程标准》指出,英语课程具有工具性和人文性双重性,即课程承担着培养学生基本英语素养和发展学生思维能力,及提高学生综合人文素养的任务。本节课是一节听力课,在听力活动中,教师通过引导学生提取细节信息、理解信息、推断信息、记录信息,关注提建议的表达方式,结合对话信息和语言进行输出性活动。 所以在课堂上教师根据听力材料的内容创设情境,把学生的学习与现实生活的经验联系起来,使学生能够很快进入学习状态。同时,学生利用已有的背景知识,对所接收到的语言信息进行分析处理,从而进行深入的思考并阐述自己的观点、看法,实现听力课是学生主动对信息进行加工的过程。
教学内容分析
本课是北师大版《初中英语》八年级下册教材第4单元的第11课,话题为上网时间。本课是一节听力课,内容涉及单元话题人际关系中的子话题交流。本课的听力材料内容为Mike的妈妈因为Mike上网时间太长而为他担忧,给Smith教授打电话,Smith教授为了帮助她解决她的困惑给她提了三条建议。学习3个提建议句型及3个回应建议的功能句。训练听力获取大意信息、获取事实性信息、推断信息及听力记录信息的基本听力技能。对话较长,也有一定难度。本课的教学设计分为两个课时。第一课时侧重对听力内容的理解,引导学生通过听获取Mike的妈妈的主要问题及Smith教授给她提的建议的信息。在听力活动中,引导学生提取细节信息,并关注提建议的表达方式,最后结合对话信息和语言进行输出性活动。第二课时在复习对话内容和语言的基础上,引入本课的语言功能,建议。在语境中进行多层面的练习,最后运用功能句、描述问题及建议的词汇来进行真实的语言表达。
学生情况分析
学生对于使用网络及日常生活中的problems的话题比较了解,对提建议的句型“Why don’t you … ”, “How about … ”, “You should … ”等也不陌生,对于大部分学生而言也不难掌握。此课出现的7个生词,可以借助图示、举例及英文解释等方法帮助学生理解其含义。通过从初一到初二第一学期,共三个学期的听力训练,大部分学生的听力获取事实信息、获取大意信息的能力已经具备。但,听力判断、听力记录信息的能力有待加强。 在While-reading环节,采用分段听的方式,帮助学生理解信息、帮助学生获取推理判断的依据。指导学生分三步记录较难信息的方法。在语言输出环节,教师及时帮助并适时鼓励学生尝试运用所学提建议句型为别人排忧解难。
教学目标
在第一课时学习结束时,学生能够:1. 通过听听力材料的第一部分,获取Mike的妈妈给Smith教授打电话的原因的大意信息及Mike上网所做的事情的事实信息;2. 通过听,在理解的基础上,对符合Mike的信息做出判断;3. 通过听,记录Smith教授给Mike的妈妈提出的建议的信息;4. 依据获取的信息,口头描述Mike的妈妈为Mike担心的事情和Smith教授给Mike的妈妈提出的建议;5. 初步运用三个提建议句型,给Mike的妈妈提出更多的建议。在第二课时学习结束时,学生能够:1.通过听,获取Mike的妈妈对Smith教授给她提出的建议的回应的信息;2. 依据获取的信息,能够对Smith教授提出的建议,发表自己的看法; 2. 运用所学过的语言,表达自己的困惑;3. 初步运用所学过的语言,对别人的困惑,给出合理的建议;4. 理解家长的一片苦心。 5. 正确识别并读出单词中的重读音节。
