小学《英语》四下 Unit4 Drawing in the park第三课时(Checkout time, Ticking time)
【教材简解】
本单元的主要教学内容是用I can see …的句型描述公园里的事物。这是一个与学生生活密切相关的话题,通过这一单元的学习,要求学生能够描述用简单的英语描述在公园里能看到的事物,能开展的活动等。
【目标预设】
知识目标:1. 能熟练掌握描述公园里事物的单词,如river, lake, hill, flower, boat等。
2. 能用句型I can see … I can …描述公园里的事物及活动。
3. 能了解字母e在单词中的发音规律。
能力目标:1. 能用完整的句子描述公园里的事物及活动。
2. 能运用本单元的词汇和句型撰写短文《In the park》,词句达意。
3. 能运用字母e的发音规律读出新单词。
情感目标:1. 能明确学习目标,根据自己的学习情况进行自我评价。
2. 在小组活动中共同合作,体验合作解决问题的成就感。
【教学重点、难点】
教学重点:
1. 能用完整的句子具体描述自己看到的事物及活动。
2. 能用字母e的发音规律读出新单词。
教学难点:
1. 能运用本单元的词汇和句型撰写短文《In the park》,词句达意。
【教学过程】
Step1 Warm up
1. Show the target and get Ss to be aware of how to learn better in groups.
2. Sing a song: What can you see
Get Ss to sing the song ‘What can you see ’ and answer the question ‘What can you see in the tree ’
【设计意图】让学生明晰本课的学习目标,并根据异质分组的原则将学生分成4人一组,促使学生在小组中充分发挥自己的能力,互帮互助,互补学习。
Step 2 Ticking time
1. Watch the cartoon and find what Bobby can see in the big box. Get Ss to answer with the sentence ‘ He can see … and …’
2. Raise the question that what Sam can see in the big box and then show a picture about ‘sound time’.
(1) Ask some questions which are focus on the words with the letter ‘e’ sounds [e], such as Ken, ten and bed.
(2) Listen and fill in the blanks. Read in different ways.
(3) Raise more words with the letter ‘e’ sounds [e].
(4) Let’s read: get Ss to work in groups and read the words according to the pronunciation rules.
(5) Let’s think: get Ss to listen and choose the right letters to fill in the blanks.
(6) Get Ss to tick the stars.
【设计意图】通过Cartoon time的情境延续到Sound time的拓展学习,通过举例、见词能读、听音填空等任务来引导学生运用字母e的发音规律解决问题,学生在小组中共同习得。
3. Raise the question again and get Ss to find what Sam can see.
(1) Let’s talk: get Ss to look at the pictures and try to talk with the structure ‘What can you see I can see a/some … in/on/behind/under the …’
(2) Let’s chant: get Ss to choose two things they like and make a chant.
eg. What can you see
I can see a lake.
What can you see
I can see some fish
in the lake, in the lake.
(3) Let’s talk: get Ss to talk about the park like a passage.
Look at this picture.
I can see a …
I can see some … in …
I can see a … behind …
I can see a … on …
I can see some … under …
What a nice park!
(4) Get Ss to tick the stars.
【设计意图】通过看图说话、创编儿歌、连续说话等任务,引导学生用完整的句子描述自己在公园里能看到的事物。
4. Show a picture and get Ss to talk about the park in more words.
(1) Pairwork.
eg. A: What can you see
B: I can see …
A: What can you do
B: I can …
(2) Circle the things in the park and get Ss to ask and answer. Then list the phrases about activities.
(3) Get Ss to tick the stars.
【设计意图】通过看图说话的同桌活动,在上个环节的内容上进行语言知识的扩充,从看到的事物延伸到在公园里开展的活动。
5. Get Ss to write about ‘In the park’ . Then share it in groups.
【设计意图】引导学生利用本单元学到的语言知识,进行英语短文的写作。写作分为三个层次:填空-半开放型-全开放型。小组成员可以互相分享写作内容,共同成长。
Homework:
1. Read ‘In the park’ to your parents.
2. Try to draw and write about other places.
