1. Can you tell me the way to Wangfujing Dajie
你能告诉我去王府井大街的路吗？
Can you tell me the way to... 意为“你能告诉我去……的路吗？”，该句型常用来问路。如：Can you tell me the way to the train station
你能告诉我去火车站的路吗？
(1)常见的问路方式：
①How can I go/get to... 我怎么到……？
②Where is... ……在哪里？
③Is there a...near here 这儿附近有……吗？
④Which bus can I take 我能乘坐哪辆公交车？
Which is the way to... 哪条是去……？
⑥Could you tell me how to get to... 你能告诉我如何去……吗？
(2)常用的指路表达方式：
①It’s next to/in front of/on the left of...它挨着……/在……的前面/在……的左边
②Go along/down/up this street.沿着这条街道（向下/上）走。
③Turn left/right at the first/second crossing.在第一/二个路口向左/右拐。
④You’ll find... on the left/ right.你就会在左边/右边发现……
⑤You can take No. 5 bus.你可以乘坐5路公交车。

stop作名词，意为“车站”，可指汽车站或者火车站。常见词组为bus stop。stop作动词，意为“停止”，后可接不定式和动名词的形式：stop to do sth.(停下来去做另一件事)；stop doing sth.(停止做某事）。如:
Can you tell me the way to the bus stop 你能告诉我去公交车站的路吗？
Supper is ready. Let’s stop to have it.(停下其他事情来吃饭）
晚饭做好了。让我们停下来吃饭吧。
Let’s begin our class. Stop talking, please.(停止正在做的事情）
让我们开始上课。请停止谈话。

on the other side of意为“在……的另一边”。
如:The bank is on the other side of the street.银行在街道的另一边。
on both sides of 在……的两边；on either side of 在……的任意一边
如:There are trees on both sides of the river.河的两边都有树。
