3. Ss can spell ,read and memorize the words by using the pronunciation rules.

1. Ss can know and obtain the pronunciation of the letter ‘e’ in close syllable words.
2. Ss can spell and read out the words that includes letters ‘et’ and ‘ed’ fast and correctly.
IV. Teaching procedures:

Step1 Warm-up&Lead-in Greetings.Play a phonics song and encourage Ss to sing and do actions together.3. Show some consonant letters and ask:What do they say And how about letter ‘e’ 通过歌曲视频引出字母发音,既激活了学生的相关旧知,又活跃了课堂气氛。
Step2 Presentation Let Ss watch a video and try to know the pronunciation /e/ of letter‘e’ in the words.2.Use the cartoon: elephant,egg to make a funny story and lead in the words including letter ‘e’:jet,pet,wet;red,Ted,bed. And use a chant to practise the pronunciation of these words.3.Listen and repeat: Show these words on the blackboard and lead Ss to conclude the pronunciation rules of letters ‘et’ and ‘ed’. And let Ss listen and repeat. 利用节奏感强的chant和富有趣味性的故事来逐步呈现新知,生动形象便于学生理解。让学生自己通过拼读归纳总结et,ed发音规律,培养其能力
Step3Practice Play a game:Look and choose . Encourage Ss to have a match in two groups”Team Amazing and Team Super cool”. And have a match : Who choose the correct words according to the pictures.Listen and choose: Play the recording and let Ss listen and choose the words they heard.Spell and read quickly:Let Ss try to spell and read some new words that including ‘et’ and ‘ed’. 通过游戏来操练语音单词,既调动了积极性,又活跃了课堂气氛。让学生用上面学过的拼读规律试着去拼读绘本中出现的新单词,锻炼学生的拼读能力。
Step4Production Lead in the picture book: The Red Sled. Point to the new word ‘sled’ and ask: What is ‘sled’?Let Ss guess and use the White Board to show the picture of sled, then lead in the characters and the title.Read P1-3 and explain the meaning of ’sped,hill,shed’ by the pictures and cartoons. Then ask:What do you want to say to Fred and Ted?Encourage Ss to discuss and say.Read P4-7 and let Ss read and imitate.Read P8 and give some advice of safety sledding.Listen and read the picture book. Let Ss pay attention to the pronunciation of the words that including ‘et’ and ‘ed’. 利用白板擦除功能呈现图片,帮助学生理解sled的含义,并引出绘本,直观形象,便于学生理解。通过图片环游的方式,对故事的情节进行大体掌握。同时利用动画、图片等直观方式来帮助学生理解新词。针对文本中出现的带有et,ed字母组合的单词进行拼读,强化拼读能力。
