4.Presentation:
T:Boys and girls, I take a friend here. Do you want to see him There is a small challenge for you. (To put the separate organs of big head son together on the blackboard and show the new words accordingly. In the meantime, encourage the students to read them after the teacher.)
T: Now you see my friend. Who is he Yes, he’s my friend big head son. Let’s say “Hello” to him. This is my friend’s face. This is my face. (Show a student’s face and some face expressions.) Today, we’ll talk about “face”.
(1) Show the flash cards and teach the new words, and encourage the students to spell and read the words bravely. Meanwhile, put up the word cards on the blackboard.
(2) Show big head son and ask a student to talk about his face. (Other students spell and read the words after him.)
(3) Play the video and ask the students to read after it. (encourage the students to touch their faces as they read the new words.)
(4) Role play: Ask two students to act as the teacher to test the students to see if they’ve already mastered the new words.
5. Practice & Game
