第3课时教学设计
一、教学目标
1.能够读懂短文，回答问题。抓住关键信息，填写动物卡片。
2.能够介绍自己最喜欢的动物。
二、教学重点:
1.能读懂短文，回答问题。抓住关键词，填写动物卡片。
2.能够介绍自己最喜欢的动物。
三、教学难点:
1、利用有限的知识去理解和整理短文。
2、正确朗读并理解难点词汇tusks,trunk。
3、能写几句话介绍自己最喜欢的动物。
4、教学用具:
卡片、道具、课件等。
5、教学过程
1.热身Warm-up
Let’s sing
齐唱英文歌曲
2.导入Lead-in
Free talk
T:What’s your favorite animal
S:My favourite animal is.......
3.新授Presentation
(1)教师出示课文中的四个人物。
T:Different people love different animals.Today,4 friends join our class,too.Look,they are Tony、Bob、Amanda、Sally.
T:What are their favourite animals Where do the animals live What do they eat What are they like Today,we will learn something about their favourite animals.
First,listen and answer.What animals do you hear
听录音，回答教师提问。
(2) 听音跟读，回答问题：
What is Tony’s/Bob’s/Amanda’s/Sally’s favourite animal
(3) 自由朗读，完成任务：
①Circle the animals in this passage.
②Underline where these animals live, what they eat, what are they like.
(4)在小组内填写动物卡片。派二个代表上台完成动物卡片信息。
(5)课堂聚焦。教师和学生一起核对四种动物的基本信息，如栖息地、食物、颜色和外形特征等等。出示主要功能句：
A:Where does it live
B:It lives on/in......
A:What does it eat
B:It eats......
A:What is it like
B:It is......
PS：整理大象相关信息的时候，突破两个难点词汇tusks.trunk。做到读其音知其义。教师先示范一组问答，后面的三组问答可以请一名学生上台问，其他人答。也可以小组之间互问互答。调动每一个人的积极性，力争让所有人参与进来。
4.操练Practice
(1)朗读课文。在小组内选择自己喜欢的方式读课文。
(2) T：Different people love different animals.
Guess,what’s my favourite animal
老师出示视频介绍自己最爱的动物。
T:My favourite animal is cat.How about you
(3)教师在大屏幕上出示各种各样的动物，学生在小组内介绍自己最喜欢的动物。注意关键句型提示学生。
T:Talk about your favourite animals in groups.Maybe my pictures can help you.
(4) 请几个同学在全班介绍自己最喜欢的动物，例如：
①Look, this is a monkey. It is my favourite animal. It lives on a mountain. It eats fruits. It is brown.It has a long tail.it’s clever.
②I know something about sharks. A shark lives in the sea. It eats small fish. It has sharp teeth.It’s very dangerous.
③My favourite animal is koala.Koala lives on a tree.It eats leaves.Koalas come from Australia.They can sleep all day.They are lazy but cute.
5. 拓展Extension
(1) 观看短片，教育学生保护动物。
T:Animals are our friends.But there are more and more endangered animals.How to protect them What can we do Let’s watch a video.
T:When the buying stops,the killing can too.
没有买卖就没有杀害。
