1教学目标 在本课学习结束时,学生能够: 1. 通过阅读,提取有关Ben和妈妈回忆Ben上学第一天的相关信息; 2. 根据所获取的信息,复述Ben上学第一天的感受和所做的事情;使用一般过去时和表情绪的形容词口头描述自己和父母相处中最难忘的一刻。 3. 通过对比Ben和妈妈记忆中的不同,引导学生感受父母在自己成长路上的陪伴与关爱, 学会感恩。
2学情分析 1.学生自然情况: 授课对象为远郊偏远地区农村校初一学生,全班23人,均来自平谷山区,学习习惯和学习基础较差,心智发展尚未成熟。但绝大多数学生心地善良、淳朴,对英语学习有兴趣,且有较强的表现欲望。此外,农村中学生,由于父母常年忙于工作、教育意识淡薄、教育方法单一,而且与孩子的沟通交流少,导致许多学生在对父母的理解方面存在认识偏差。因此,本节课除了训练学生的语言知识和技能之外,还对学生进行理解父母、孝敬父母、感恩父母的情感教育。 2.已有知识和能力: 学生已经在Lesson13 学过了“be”动词的一般过去时,对一般过去时的语用功能有所了解,有利于学生进一步学习行为动词的一般过去时;话题“My First Day”贴近学生生活实际,学生有相关的生活经验,便于对阅读文本的理解;由于是初一下学期的学生,他们已初步具备通过抓关键词获取文章大意的能力,但对文章内容的深层理解尚需教师进一步引导。 3. 可能存在的问题: 1)所教学生来自于农村,英语基础薄弱,获取文章深层次内容的能力相对较差。由于父母常年忙于工作、教育意识淡薄、教育方法单一,而且与孩子的沟通交流少,学生可能在看待父母的教育和管理方面存在认识偏差。 2)学生已初步具备获取具体信息的能力,但对于阅读中的微技能,如获取主旨大意、推断等能力尚需进一步指导。
3重点难点 1. 教学重点: 1). 通过阅读,提取有关Ben和妈妈回忆Ben上学第一天的相关信息; 2). 根据所获取的信息,复述Ben上学第一天的感受和所做的事情;使用一般过去时和表情绪的形容词口头描述自己和父母相处中最难忘的一刻。 2. 教学难点:挖掘文章深层内容,引导学生正确看待父母的教育和管理,理解父母,学会感恩。
4教学过程 活动1【导入】读前口头谈论生日及婴孩时期的许多第一次,导入话题,教学关于”feelings”的词汇 1. T asks questions about “Birthday”. 2. T shows some pictures about a baby’s first time and have a free-talk with Ss. 3. T asks “Do you know why they remember these things ”. Teach the adjectives about feelings and guide to the topic from “first”. 活动2【活动】初步获取文章主旨大意 Ask questions about the topic “Who am I ” “What first day are they talking about ” Ask “What was Ben’s first school day like ”. Have Ss read and match the stories with the endings. 活动3【活动】获取故事细节信息，关注表达情绪的语言 1. T:Ask“How did Ben feel on his first schoolday ”. Ss:Read, circle and fill in the blanks. Share the answers in pairs and then with the whole class. 2. T shows Discussion 1. Discussion 1: Ben and his mum are both talking about Bens first day at school. Are there any differences in their memories Have the Ss talk about the discussion to get the deep content behind them. 活动4【活动】提取并对比有关学校里的其他孩子、Ben的新老师以及第一个新朋友的信息 1. T asks “What were other kids like at school ” Ss read and complete the table. 2. Show Discussion 2. Guide the Ss summarize the differences in Ben’s and his Mum’s memories. Listen and read with the tape. 2.Help Ss retell Ben’s first school day with the short text or the word son the Bb. 活动9【练习】描述一件发生在自己和父母之间的美好记忆，分享成长故事，交流生活感悟 T shows the task “A beautiful memory ”and give an example. Ss work in groups and try to say something with the languages they have got from the text. 活动10【作业】课后巩固 1. 听录音并跟读课文。 2. 根据学案,独立描述Ben和妈妈对Ben上学第一天的回忆。
