1. 辨析：try to do与try doing sth.
try to do sth. 努力做某事（付出努力但不一定成功）
try doing sth. 试着做某事（仅仅尝试一下）
例：
I’ll try to solve the problem by myself. 我会尽力自己解决这个问题。
They tried climbing the mountain. 他们试着爬那座山。

There is a bit of water in the glass.

4. 辨析：a few, few, a little, little
修饰可数名词 修饰不可数名词
表示否定含义，意为“几乎没有；少” few little
表示肯定含义，意为“几个；一些” a few a little
例：
She is new here, so she has few friends. 她是新来这的，所以她几乎没有朋友。
There are still a few books in the schoolbag. 在书包里还有几本书。
There is little milk in the fridge. Let’s go to buy some in the supermarket.
冰箱里没有牛奶了。我们去超市买些吧。
Don’t worry! There is a little time left. 不用担心！还有点剩余时间。
