T: Yes you are now in grade six, and you’ll go to a middle school soon. It means you are going to say goodbye to your friends. And do you know “middle school”？（板书middle school并教学，middle中间）
T: And Sally will go to a middle school, too. She’ll go back to New York. So Wang Tao and his classmates are going to have a farewell party.
T:板书New York. New York is a big city in the USA. It is纽约.Follow me(跟读). Pay attention to their first letter, they are capitals. We have learned “New Year” before. What does it mean

4、 Read these phrases first(middle school、New York、have a farewell party)
5、 Turn to page 69,underline these phrases. Then read the text by yourselves and underline some other phrases.(请学生读出词组)词组“invite her parents”引出单词parents的教学并拓展到grandparents。
6、 T: Read all of the phrases after me.
7、 Listen to the recording and circle the words which you don’t understand.(引出单词address的教学并强调复数形式加es)
8、 Listen again and answer my questions:1、What does Chen Ling say 2、What does Li Hong say (两个问题引出句型Let’s…的教学并用词组操练巩固)
9、 Take out your papers and write down some sentences begin with “Let’s”
