我给你量一下体温。
take在本句中的意思为 “（用机器）测定，量取”，take one’s temperature意为“量体温”。take one’s blood pressure为同样用法，意为“量血压”。
在本课中，还出现了take的另外一个常用意思。
Take it three times a day.
每天吃三次药。
在此句中take有“服药，吃药”的意思。
3. That’s why you’ve got a stomach ache.
这就是你得胃病的原因。
That’s why（+结果） 这就是…的原因。
That’s because（+原因） 那是因为…。
例如：

这就是他迟到的原因。

4. Do you do any exercise
你锻炼身体吗？
本句中exercise表示“锻炼”，为不可数名词，没有复数形式。常用搭配为get/do some exercise或take exercise，在口语中更常用get some exercise。如：
You need to do more exercise.
We do morning exercises at school every day.

be harmful to意为“对……有害”，也可以用do harm to来替代。
