我和我的爷爷喂鸡。
feed的过去式是fed；feed the chickens 喂鸡
2. It was so much fun. 那真是蛮好玩的。
fun 表示“有趣的事情”，为不可数名词。
so much“如此多的”，修饰不可数名词。
have fun = have a good time 玩得愉快
3. How was your trip last week 上周你的旅行怎么样？
这是常见的问候用语，如果问候当前的情况则把was改成is。答语用：It was great./It was OK./Not bad.等。
4. Luckily, it didn’t, and the sun came out again!
幸运的是，没有下雨，并且太阳又出来了！
luckily为副词，意为“幸运地”，通常放在句首，用来修饰整个句子。
the sun“太阳”，在独一无二的名词前用定冠词the。
come out “出来，出现，开花”。
5. All in all, it was an exciting day.
总之，这是令人兴奋的一天。
all in all 相当于汉语中的“总的说来；总之；整体上说”，用来对所阐述的内容进行概括性总结及归纳。
6. Everything was about robots and I’m not interested in that.
每个东西都是关于机器人的，我对此不感兴趣。
everything为不定代词，“所有事物，一切”，作主语时，谓语动词用单数。
be interested in “对……感兴趣”，主语是人；interesting修饰物。
7. I didn’t like the trip at all. 我一点都不喜欢这次行程。
not at all / not… at all 意思是“根本不；完全不”。
the number of意为“……的数量”。其后接复数名词，作主语时谓语动词用单数。
【拓展】a number of意为“许多”，相当于a lot of；其后接复数名词，作主语时谓语动词用复数。

语法复习
一般过去时态（1）
定义：表示过去某一时间所发生的动作或存在的状态。
谓语动词：要用一般过去式。
时间标志：yesterday, last week, last month（上个月）, last year（去年）, two months ago（两个月前）, the day before yesterday（前天），in 1990 (在1990年), in those days （在那些日子里）等表示过去的时间状语。
如： I was born in 1990. (我出生在1990年)。
I went to the park last week. （我上周去的公园）

表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态。
Wang Tao was in Canada last year. 王涛去年在加拿大。
表示过去经常或反复发生的动作。常与often, sometimes等连用。
We often went out for a walk after supper. 我们过去经常在晚饭后出去散步。
用法：
肯定句：主语 + was/ were + 其他. Jim was in Beijing last year.
否定句：主语 + was/ were + not + 其他. Jim wasn’t in Beijing last year.
一般疑问句：Was/ Were + 主语 + 其他 肯定回答：Yes, 主语 + was/ were. 否定回答：No, 主语 + wasn’t/weren’t. —Was Jim in Beijing last year
