教材分析
本节课出自人教2011课标版一年级起点（吴欣主编），四年级上册（2014年3月第1版）第五单元第三课。本单元围绕安全守则Safety开展，教导学生在生活中遵守安全规则，提高安全意识和自我保护意识。本节课是第一节课和第二节课的延伸与拓展。本节课的A项呈现了与安全守则相关的十条生活中常见的安全规则，学生读懂规则后，按道路安全规则和学校安全规则归类。培养学生通过阅读文本，对信息进行分析和归纳的能力。B项要求学生根据图片提供的情境，写出相应的安全提示语。实现从理解语言到实际运用语言的过程。
学情分析
1. 四年级的学生，有一定的英语基础，乐于用英语交流。在日常的教学中我逐渐地发现，学生们对动画、视频以及图片等直观的教学形式极为感兴趣。因此在本节课中，我在教学资源的开发上花费了很多的心思，旨在激发学生学习英语的兴趣。2. 大部分学生已经初步形成了一定的安全意识，并且能够对日常生活中的一些危险的行为做出基本的判断。
教学目标
语言技能：能够读懂有关安全规则的小文段，并能分别归纳出在道路上和在学校的安全规则。能够模仿录音，较为流利地朗读小文段。语言知识：能够听懂、会说climb on the window ledge, play with fire, run down the stairs, sidewalk, wait for, be careful, dangerous和safe等词汇；能够根据语境恰当使用它们，并能借助拼读规律认读和识记单词；能够听懂、会说有关安全提示的功能句：Be careful! Don’t… It’s dangerous! Please…It’s safe. 能够初步在情境中进行口头运用。情感态度：能够积极参与课堂上的各种活动或游戏，并能与同伴合作完成活动或游戏。能够在活动中认真倾听同伴发言，并大胆表达自己的观点。学习策略：能够根据图片情境写出有关安全的提示语。文化意识：能够在生活中遵守安全规则，提高安全意识和自我保护意识。
教学重点及难点
教学重点：能够听懂、会说climb on the window ledge, play with fire, run down the stairs, sidewalk, wait for, be careful, dangerous和safe等词汇；能够根据语境恰当使用它们，并能借助拼读规律认读和识记单词；能够听懂、会说有关安全提示的功能句：Be careful! Don’t… It’s dangerous! Please…It’s safe. 能够初步在情境中进行口头运用。教学难点：能够根据图片情境写出有关安全的提示语。
教学基本策略及设计思路
本节课是第一课和第二课的延伸和拓展。首先通过三个视频和几组图片，对本单元的重点短语加以复习和更直观的理解，并且通过师生问答的形式，让学生对这些行为是否危险加以判断。其次，通过图片对A项十条生活中常用的安全规则加以呈现，并且通过Dangerous or Safe的小游戏，让学生举红牌和绿牌来判断是否危险，对十条安全规则有更深刻的理解。再次，通过小组合作的方式，要求学生根据图片提供的情境，写出相应的安全提示语。实现从理解语言到实际运用语言的过程。最后，播放一段关于安全的动画视频，截取六幅图片与句子配对连线，让学生对生活中其他的安全规则有更好的了解，升华本课的主题，起到提高学生安全意识和自我保护意识的目的。

探索新知识 1. Play the game named Dangerous or safe. The teacher shows ten pictures to students. If you think the action is dangerous, please show me the red paper. If you think the action is safe, please show me the green paper. 2. Show the ten sentences to students and let them read them one by one.3. Read the ten sentences in Part A. 课堂总结 Life is valuable. We should obey safety rules and treasure our life. 升华本课的主题，起到提高学生安全意识和自我保护意识的目的。
