Do you love them So let’s go to the zoo and have a look. T leads in reading the title “Unit 3 Animals”, and write the title on the board. T: In this class, boys and girls will PK to see who is the first to get to the zoo.Step 2: PresentationTo learn the word “cat” by sound.Teacher asks Ss to listen to the sound of the cat and let them guess what it is. Ss follow T to read the word. Ss read the word one by one, group by group. Ask Ss to pay attention to the sound / / .The same way to learn the word “dog”.Ss follow to read one by one. Ask Ss to pay attention to the sound / / .T: It can fly. It can sing. And T does the relevant action.T: What is it Ss spell and read /b d/Play SIMON SAYS game to read the word “bird”4.Play Bombing game to consolidate these three words.5.T: It has a long tail, it likes bananas. What is it Ss follow to read and play HIDE AND SEEK to consolidate the word.(One student hides the word card, another student find the word card, other students say the word by low and high voice to guide the student who finds the card to find it.)Listen to the sound of tiger and learn the word. Follow to read and play “low and high voice”game to consolidate the word.Step 3: PracticeFollow T to read the five words. Then follow little teacher to read.Play the word cards. T says “Put your cat\dog\tiger\monkey on your desk.” Ss listen and put the word cards one by one. When T says the fourth word, Ss speak out the fifth word card in their hands as quickly as possible. Then T says “Put your tiger\cat\dog\bird in your hand.” Ss listen and put the word cards one by one. When T says the fourth word, Ss speak out the fifth word card on their desks as quickly as possible.Play the dice. T claps hands, Ss pass the dice, when T stops clapping, the student who gets the dice throws it and says the animal on topside of the dice. What is the next Ss speak out the animal according to the rules. E.g monkey, tiger, monkey, Listen and do: Act like a monkey. T says a passage and asks Ss to do the relevant actions in 3 seconds when they hear the words of animals. T: We are in the zoo. So please act like a cat. Act like a dog. Act like a bird. Act like a monkey.
