语法突破　写作指导
1. 并列复合句的定义:
由并列连词and, but, or等把两个或两个以上的简单句连在一起而构成的句子叫
并列复合句。
2. 并列复合句的结构:
简单句+并列连词+简单句。
3. 并列连词前后简单句之间的关系:
(1)并列或顺承关系。由连词and连接。如:
He gets up, and then he has breakfast.
他起床后去吃早餐。
(2)选择关系。由连词or连接。如:
You are wrong again. I don't think you understand this, or you are not careful enough.
你又错了。我认为你没明白它, 或者你不够细心。
(3)转折关系。由连词but连接。如:
He was very tired, but he didn't stop to have a rest. 他很累, 但他
没有停下来休息一会儿。
【温馨提示】
(1)并列复合句有时可不用连词, 而用分号隔开。如:
I can't play basketball; I can play table tennis.
我不会打篮球, 我会打乒乓球。
(2)并列连词后的简单句如果与其前的简单句有相同的部分, 则相同的部分常可省略。如:
She was sitting there and watching TV.
她坐在那儿, 在看电视。
(3)连词and和or可以与祈使句连用, 构成“祈使句+and/or+简单句”结构。在此句型中, and用
来表示顺承关系, or用来表示转折关系, 此时or意为“否则; 要不然”。此结构中的祈使句
表示一种条件, 通常用一般现在时, and和or后的简单句表示一种结果, 常用一般将来时。如:
Work hard, and you'll get good grades.
努力学习, 你就会取得好成绩。
Get up early, or you'll be late for school.
早点儿起床, 否则你上学将会迟到。
