否定疑问句的用法

你不应该在上学吗
此句是一个否定疑问句, 表示惊奇。否定疑问句就是在疑问句中加了否定词not, 因为是问句, 所以否定词not要跟在助动词、be动词或情态动词后面, 意为“难道不……吗 ”
1. 否定疑问句的用法如下:
(1)表示惊奇。如:
Don't you like the present
难道你不喜欢这个礼物吗
(2)表示感叹。如:
Isn't she a pretty little girl
难道她不是个漂亮的小姑娘吗
(3)表示责备。如:
Can't you understand what I said
你难道不明白我的话吗
2. 对此类问句进行回答时, 要注意汉语和英语的区别。在回答时, yes翻译为“不”; no翻译为“是的”。

seem在此句中是动词, 意为“看来;似乎”。句型It seems/seemed (to sb. )that. . . 意为“(在某人)看起来似乎……”。
seem的其他用法:
1. seem like“看起来好像……”, 其后常跟名词(短语)。
2. seem to do sth. “好像做某事”。
3. seem (to be)+形容词“看起来好像……;似乎……”。
4. seem (to be)+形容词+名词“看起来好像是……;似乎是……”。

not. . . but. . . 连接两个主语时, 谓语动词的数要与邻近它的主语保持一致。如:

look down at 意为“低头看”, 其结构为:动词+表示方向的副词+

look after照顾, look forward to期待, look around向四周看, look up向上看;查阅。
