一、考点:
宾语从句 (3)
在本模块中,让我们一起总结一下宾语从句的用法。
1. 当主句的谓语动词是think, believe, suppose等,且主句主语是第一人称时,对从句的否定通常转移到主句上来,称为“否定转移”。
2. 宾语从句的时态
如果主句是一般现在时,宾语从句一般要用过去的某种时态。
I remember he gave me a book yesterday. 我记得他昨天给了我一本书。
如果主句是一般过去时,宾语从句一般要用过去的某种时态。
He told me that he would take part in the sports meeting. 他告诉我将会参加运动会。
如果宾语从句表示的是客观事实或真理,即使主句是过去时,从句也要用一般现在时。
He told me that the earth goes round the sun. (真理)
他告诉我地球绕着太阳转。
二、易错点:
1. voice, sound与noise的区别用法
voice指说话或唱歌的歌声,有时也指鸟鸣声。
noise指的是人们不愿听到的声音,即“噪音”。
sound泛指可以听到的任何声音。
2. win与beat的区别用法
win常作及物动词,意为“获胜、胜利”,其后可以直接跟宾语,其宾语一般是表示游戏、比赛、竞争、战争、奖品等的名词。
beat意为“打败、击败”,宾语是表示人或团队的名词,而不是表示游戏、比赛的名词。

Have you read any books by Washington Irving?Now I will tell you a story written by him. The name of the story is Rip Van Winkle, and it is also the name of the hero in this story. There are three characters in this story, Rip Van Winkle and his wife, Dame Van Winkle and their dog, Woof. Dame Van Winkle is a sharp-tongued (说话尖酸的、刻薄的) woman. Both Rip Van Winkle and the dog are terrified of her, even of her voice.
