1、学生能够在图片、实物、情境的帮助下听懂、辨认文本中的动物及其书写形式。
2、学生能在语境中运用句型“—What’s this —It’s a/an ”询问并回答动物的名称。

1、培养学生相互合作的意识。
2、培养学生热爱动物、保护动物的意识。
3、能够建立单词音、义、形之间的联系，整体学习单词。
教学重难点
教学重点 听、说、认读单词pig、cat、duck、dog、bear。熟练运用句型“—What’s this —It’s a/an ”来交流相关物体的信息。
教学难点 通过朗读歌谣对单词音和义进行巩固操练，利用读音规则品读新单词。

一、Warm-up 1、Let’s do. T: close your eyes, open your mouth, clap your hands, touch your nose, wave your arms, shake your body!(课前热身) 2、Greetings and free talk T: Hello, boys and girls. Ss: Hello, Miss. Wu. T: Nice to meet you. Ss: Nice to meet you, too. T：Thank you. How are you S1: . S2: . T: What’s this S1: It’s a/an . 课前热身活跃一下气氛，帮助学生放松。 利用greetings拉近与学生的距离，培养师生感情，同时增强学生运用英语交流的能力。 通过free talk很自然地呈现出本课重点句型，利用以前学过的单词更易于新句型的操练。
二、Presentation 1、Enjoy a song “Old MacDonald”. T：Boys and girls, you see, today is not a fine day, but we still can be happy. Let’s sing a song, OK Ss: OK! 2、Present new words. T: Look! This is Old MacDonald’s farm. My friend has a farm, too. Let’s make it more beautiful.(男生用小草表示，女生用花朵表示，男女生合作布置农场，让农场更美丽。) （1） bear T: Do you know my friend Look carefully! (简笔画bear) What’s this Ss: It’s a bear. T: (板书字母b) What’s this Ss: It’s B. (板书It’s a bear”，并教读，男生女生读bear，请个别学生act like a dog) T: Look at the bear! Where is the bear （出示chant 部分图片）。指着梨子问What’s this Ss: 梨子. T：Yes! It’s a pear. Do you remember this A, a, a, / /, / /, / /. C, c, c, /k/, /k/, /k/.D, d, d ,/d/, /d/, /d/ B, b, b, Ss: /b/, /b/, /b/. （引导学生读出pear） T: Look at the bear. It’s on the pear.(教读句子，男生女生读) （2）dog T：You see, the bear is so naughty, its friend is naughty, too. Look! What’s this (出示图片) Ss: It’s a dog. (教授dog,请学生act like a dog) T：Look at the dog. Where is the dog 指着木头问 What’s this It’s a log. Look at the dog. It’s on the log.（教读句子）The dog is too naughty, it’s dangerous. Be careful, safety is the first! (3)duck、cat T：At the farm, there are other animals. Listen carefully, What can you hear (播放动物的声音，) Ss: duck、cat （再分别播放动物的声音） ①duck T: What’s this Ss: It’s a duck.(教学duck，开火车读单词duck) T: Look at the duck. Where is the duck It’s in the truck. (对比教学duck和truck) （教学句子： Look at the duck. It’s in the truck.） ②cat T: What’s this Ss: It’s a cat.(教学cat，指名读单词cat) （4）pig T: When the animals are barking. One animal is sleeping. Look, What’s this （出示猪耳朵） Ss: It’s an ear. T: (出示猪的图片) What’s this Ss: It’s a pig.（教学pig,男生女生读pig） T: Look at the pig. It eats too much. So it is big. (教学Look at the pig. It is big) T: Look at the cat. It eats much, too. So it is fat. (教学句子Look at the cat. It is fat.） T: The cat and the dog eat too much, so they are big and fat. Boys and girls, we should keep healthy. So keep diet and do some sports. Let’s fight together. 4、Let’s chant Look at the cat. It is fat. Look at the pig. It is big. Look at the dog. It’s on the log. Look at the duck. It’s in the truck. Look at the bear. It’s on the pear 用英文歌曲活跃课堂气氛，并用歌曲来给本节课创设情境，进入新课的学习。 利用简笔画吸引学生注意力，培养学习兴趣。 音标教学寓于单词教学中，有效地锻炼了学生的发音。 利用图片出示，结合上一个单词，进行情感教育 利用声音呈现，打破枯燥统一的教学方式，维持学生的兴趣。 让学生猜动物，激发兴趣。
三、Practice: 1、Let’s act 学生做动作，其他同学来猜动物 2、Play a game T：Wow, so many lovely animals. Do you love these animals Zoom love these animals, too. He made some beautiful houses for them. Look, Can you send them to their houses 学生扮演动物，滚动练习句型“It’s a/an ”不断地操练，有效地进行复习。送动物回家，对单词音、形、义进行巩固操练，整体掌握单词。
四、Consolidation and Extension 1、教师给每小组分发图片的碎片，让学生合作将碎片拼成一幅完整的动物或文具图片，看哪组拼的又快又好，并且用学过的句型来进行问答。 不完整的图片激起了学生好奇心，通过小组合作的方式增加了学生之间的感情，也让学生享受了共同学习的快乐。
五、Homework Please draw your farm and introduce your farm to us. (画一画你的农场, 请把你的农场介绍给我们吧！ ) 将英语课和美术课很好地结合，不仅锻炼了学生审美的能力，而且也很有效地对本课进行了复习。
