教学目标:
知识与能力目标:学生能听懂、会说和认读old和young, 学生能理解并口头运用下列句子How old are you I’m …years old.
学习策略目标:通过和同桌对话,让学生对本节课重点句型进行操练,培养学生在真实的情境中,综合运用语言的能力。
情感态度目标:了解中西文化中谈论年龄话题的差异。
教学重点: 在情景中运用核心句型How old are you I’m …years old. 谈论年龄。
教学难点: year一词的正确发音,以及核心句型How old are you I’m …years old.的正确使用。
课前准备:1. 自制本节课教学课件Lesson22
2. 写有old或young的图片小奖品
3. old和young的单词卡片
4. Danny, Jenny, Li Ming人物头饰
5. Group work纸每位学生1份,课前下发
6. 板书字条2个
7. 学生自带家人照片
教学过程:
Step一. 热身(Warm-up)
1. Greeting. Hello, boys and girls. How are you Nice to meet you. Are you ready for English class. Ss: Go!
2. First, let’s sing《I love you, you love me》课件播放歌曲动画,学生边拍手边齐唱歌谣。Great! We love our families.
(设计意图:通过播放歌曲,既复习把学生带入了家庭的氛围,又活跃了课堂气氛,激发了学生的学习兴趣. )
3.课件示我的家庭。 This is my family. This is my brother. This is my sister.学生根据课件提示用His/Her name is …He’s/She’s …(tall/short).描述人物,课件指向爸爸,This is my father. (伴动作)He’s old.
(设计意图:通过复习上节课的旧知,为下面词汇和句型的学习,进一步做铺垫。)
Step二. 新课呈现(Presentation)
1. 师画简笔画(老的),并带读old,师拿单词卡,分节带读,贴单词, boys, girls, S1, S2,S3...课件示老爷爷和老奶奶,学生根据图片选词填空: old.( He’s/She’s)
2. 师画简笔画(年轻的小女孩),Is she old She’s young.师拿单词卡. y-y-/j/-/j/, ou /Λ/-/Λ/, ng/η/-/η/, young/ jΛη/, row1, row2,row3, S1-S2-S3…师指班内学生Wang Yinuo is young. Zhao Zihang is young. Can you say some sentences with “young” 师示范表演old 和young,师示范表演,Can you show me old or young Let’s point and say: He’s old. She’s old.
(设计意图:学生根据自然拼读规律学习新单词,学生有成就感,知识掌握得更好。)
3. Let’s do it. Wu Meitong is young. Jenny is young, too. What about Jenny’s family Look! Jenny says: My brother is tall. My mother is short. My father is old. My sister is young. What about your families Fill in the form at page 56 and talk about your family in pairs. 学生展示。
4. Now we know your families. Look at my family again. My father is old. My son is young.(课件显示,我4岁啦)He is 4 years old. But how old is Danny 9?10?Let’s watch the cartoon and answer. 播放动画,回答问题。
(设计意图:整体输入课文,让学生带着问题整体感知对话的语音语调,有助于学生对课文的理解。)
5. 学生根据动画回答问题,课件示句子I’m ten years old,师贴句子I’m ten years old. 师戴Danny头饰,分节带读句子,row1, row2, row3, S1-S2-S3…师指自己头饰,I’m ten years old. How old are you 师问3人后贴问句,分节带读。T戴Danny头饰---S1:I’m ten years old. How old are you S1:…T: Can you ask your friend 师示范一组,Please ask and answer one by one in your groups. Which group wants to have a show 展示两组。
(设计意图:对重点句型进行操练,引导学生理解和运用目标语言。)
6. We know Danny is 10 years old. How old is Jenny How old is Lynn Let’s watch the cartoon again and answer. 课件示问题,再次播放动画,Let’s check the answers. 找几人,订正答案。
Step三. 巩固和延伸(Consolidation and extension)
1. (1)Open your books to page 57. Let’s listen and repeat. Pay attention to imitating the pronunciation and intonation.(伴肢体语言)Good job!
(2)Now I’m Danny, who wants to be Li Ming and Jenny 师将头饰递出,分角色示范读课文,Next, read this dialogue in your groups.
(3)师巡视,Boys and girls, Which group wants to have a show 生戴头饰表演,展示两组。
(设计意图:回归课本,注重引导学生模仿语音语调,让学生养成听和模仿的习惯,奠定良好的语音基础。)
2. Game: 猜年龄。课件出示学生小时候的照片,.Let’s go back to some years ago by time machine. Look, a little girl is coming, can you talk about her and guess the age like this 师示范:Zhang Jingyao is very young. She’s years old.学生根据语言支架猜测,揭晓答案后猜对者发小奖品,并且全体齐读问照片中的同学:How old are you 学生本人根据照片中的年龄回答,依次猜测其它照片。
(设计意图:利用猜测照片中学生年龄的游戏,巩固了所学的句型。并且有极高的趣味性,有利于激发学生的学习兴趣。)
3. Group work. Next, take out your photos and the paper. Introduce your family member or your friend in your groups. These tips will help you. If you have some questions, I’ll help you. Let’s begin! Show time!展示两组。鼓掌并发old或young的单词图片小奖品。
(设计意图: 通过自带照片描述家人的活动,将所学知识得到了延伸和拓展。)
4. I like your family show very much. A song for you. Listen and try to sing. 课件呈现将核心句型改变的歌词:How old are you I’m ten. How old are you I’m ten. How old are you I’m ten years old. How old are you I’m ten years old.播放《两只老虎》的旋律,师示范一遍学生试跟唱,第二遍学生齐唱,Well done!
5. 中西方文化差异:In western countries, adults usually don’t talk about the age. This is personal privacy. It’s impolite to ask someone’s age in public. (课件呈现情感教育,并标注汉语:在西方国家,成年人一般不谈论年龄的话题,这是属于个人隐私,如果在公共场合询问别人的年龄是不礼貌的哦!)
(设计意图:适当渗透西方文化教育,了解中西文化中谈论年龄话题的差异。)
