二.教学重点,难点
1.重点:能用What’s your hobby 询问他人的兴趣爱好, 用I like … My hobby… 表达个人的兴趣爱好。
2.难点:了解动名词的形式和用法。通过让学生用动名词说句子,引导学生观察动名词的构成,让学生初步感知动名词的用法。

Step 1.Prepration
1.Greetings.
T: Class begins! Good morning , boys and girls .
Ss: Good morning , Miss Deng .
T: Nice to meet you!
Ss: Nice to meet you, too!
T: What day is today
Ss: Today is Thursday .
T: What’s the weather like today
Ss: It’s sunny.
T: Yes, it’s sunny, it’s very warm. Sit down ,please .
2.Say a chant.

Dancing, dancing, I like dancing .
Reading, reading, I like reading .
Step 2. Presentation
1. Lead in lessons, teach the new word “hobby” .
T: I like reading. Reading is good for us. Do you like reading Ss: Yes .
T: Yes, I like reading. So my hobby is reading.
Show the picture and teach “hobby” .
2. Teach the sentence patterns: What’s your hobby I like…. My hobby is ….
T: Boys and girls , I like reading . My hobbyis reading. What’s your hobby (Blackboard topic)
S1: I like singing. My hobby is singing.

Lead students to express their own hobbies using I like… , My hobby is….
3. Learn the phrase “collecting storybooks” .
T: I like reading. When I was young, I like reading storybooks and collecting storybooks.
(1) Teach the words “storybook and collect” (Ss look at the screen)
(2) Blackboard the phrase “ collecting storybooks” and read it.
And then ,let the Ss say the sentences using “collect”:
T:I like collecting storybooks .What about you
(What’s your hobby \What do you like ) I like collecting.... My hobby is collecing ....
4. Teach the phrases “ collecting stamps, collecting old photos, playing chess, playing the violin and taking photos” in the same way.
