【教学目标】
1．知识目标：
（1）复习方位词及词组的表达方式。
（2）熟练掌握如下特殊疑问句：

b．What is your favorite place in your neighborhood Why
c．How do you get there from your home
2．能力目标：
学会描述自己所居住的地方。
3．情感目标：
（1）学会提供帮助的一些日常用语。
（2）学会关注他人，关注社会，多做有益于他人和社会的好事情。
【教学重难点】
1．there be句型的一般疑问句及其肯定与否定回答，以where, what, how引导的特殊疑问句的构成。
2．掌握如下句型。
（1）I enjoy playing Chinese chess with my grandpa.
（2）We sometimes watch the neighbor's cats climbing the trees.
3．学会阐述某一场所各个建筑物之间的位置关系，并能利用地图向他人介绍自己所居住的社区。
4．My grandma makes the foods I like.
【教学准备】
1．准备录音机和磁带。
2．设计课后巩固练习。
【教学过程】
Step 1 Warming-up and revision.
Check the homework.（复习单词，创设情境复习句型。）
Step 2 Presentation.
Look at 3a. Ask the Ss to look at the map of Cindy's neighborhood and fill in the blanks. Then check the answers.
Step 3 Practice.

Look at 3b, ask the Ss to draw a map of your neighborhood and write about it with the help of the following sentences. After writing it, correct the answers in groups, choose the most excellent answers to read in class at last.
