一、教学内容：新目标人教版英语八年级（上）unit 5 section B (2a-2b) (教材p37)
二、教学目标：
1、 知识与能力：
（1）能掌握以下单词：culture、famous、rich、successful、main、reason、 be ready to…等。
能掌握以下句型：
①One of the main reasons is that Mickey was like a common man.
②He was always ready to try his best.
③He was always try to face any danger.
(2）Improving the reading 、listening and speaking skills.
2、 过程与方法：
采用task-based language teaching ,communicative teaching 的教学策略，利用课件展开课堂任务型教学活动，解决问题 。
3、 情感态度价值观：
了解世界其他国家的文化，形成跨文化的意识，增强爱国主义教育，做弘扬爱国文化的传承者。
三、教学重、难点及教学突破
1、 教学重、难点：
（1) 学习掌握新单词与新句型。
（2) 学会运用重点句型和语法点。
2、 教学突破：
教师准备：Unit 5 section B 重在培养学生听、说、读的语言技能，让学生在解决预设的问题中运用与提高这三大技能，精心备教材，制作课件，学生在掌握了知识点又突破了难点中运用了英语。
学生准备：让学生做好本节课的充分预习工作。

　　由看课件中的图片，让学生说出自己对卡通片的喜好，由看到读让学生有所思，有所想，从而引出本节课的学习内容。

设计意图:
　　Step2是本节课教学步骤的重点，教学过程由先学第一、第三到第二自然段进行，主要通过回答预设的问题，完成学习任务，并且让学生在学习文化知识的同时能够掌握生活的能力。教学方法由浅入深，循序渐进，让学生用英语积极解决问题中掌握知识。

设计意图:本部分仍然采用提问的方式让学生说出你对中国文化的印象，记忆中的中国文化是什么？此种方式会调动学生的参与积极性，达到预期效果。通过图片总结，增强学生的爱国意识。

教学探讨与反思
新课标要求课堂教学要培养学生的情感因素，着力培养学生的学习兴趣，激发学生的学习动机和培养他们热爱生活的品质。在英语教学中采用任务型教学模式，组织好每一项课堂活动，把“表演”的机会给学生，让学生成为真正的“主角”，让学生时刻处在体验，实践，参与，合作与交流的活动中，努力建立平等和睦的师生关系，让学生喜欢自己的英语课，不断提高他们的学习能力，培养学生积极的情感态度，丰富学生学习生活，使学生的文化意识、生活意识等素养都得到全面发展和提高。
