一、教学三维目标:

③ She also sings more loudly than Tara.
2) 能掌握以下语法:
① 形容词或副词比较级形式的构成。
② 表示两者进行比较的句式结构。
2.过程与方法
1.采用的教学法:视听法,任务型教学法。采用视听法,主要是根据七年级学生的视听方面的要求提前设置听前任务,以降低听力难度。采用任务型教学法,是让学生可以在课堂上以听录音,竞猜,观看课件等多种形式输入语言知识,最后运用新知识表达观点。
2.辅助手段或媒体:本课采用图片和视频导入,形象具体而有趣味性,整节课采用多媒体教学,更生动,更直观。
3. 情感态度价值观目标:
通过描述人的个性特征,使学生在人际交往中学会尊重和理解别人,学会交换不同的看法,了解他人的喜好,增进情谊。(朋友可以相似,也可以不同。患难朋友才是真朋友。) 培养学生健康、活泼、积极向上的人生观。
二、教学重难点

3、教材分析
本课教学内容为“Go for it ”新目标英语八年级上册第三单元Section A1a-1c形容词副词的比较级。学习的主要内容如下:
1、掌握有关人物特点的单词:
tall, thin, short, heavy, calm, wild, long hair,
short hair, outgoing, quiet, funny, serious, smart,
2、学会运用人物比较的重要句型:
(1)Peter is funnier than Paul.
(2)Tina is taller than Tara.
(3)Tom plays the drums better than Sam.
3、掌握语法点: 形容词和副词的比较级的构成及用法.
4 听力学习.
4、学情分析
本单元话题内容贴近学生生活实际,同学们感兴趣.在七年级What does he look like 中曾学习过一些描述人物外貌特征的词语,如: tall,short, shy,funny,curly, straight hair, medium build, thin, heavy, blonde等,在学习本单元有关人物性格特征的单词时,可以温故而知新。学习语法知识点“形容词的比较级”以及人物比较的表达时,应紧密联系学生实际,就地取材,拿身边的人或物进行对比,从词汇变化到句子,再由句子扩展到语篇,使每位学生都能使用正确的语言结构描述人物特点和进行人物比较,能用比较级自由谈论自己的好朋友或其他人,以及他们之间的异同。
五、教学过程
Ⅰ. Lead-in
1.播放猫和老鼠的视频短片,通过猫和老鼠的对话:“I’m taller than you ,I'm stronger than you ...”初步让同学们了解比较级。
Ⅱ. Presentation
1. 通过“每日一句谚语”学习不要以貌取人的英文表达。从而过渡到让几位同学上黑板写下描述人物外貌性格的单词并简单造句。 Ask Ss to write down as many adj. about people as possible. Check the adj. Ss write and we can group them into some pairs, like: [Section A 1a]把班上同学分成四个大组,比拼,按组加分。
tall --- short; thin --- heavy, long hair --- short hair, calm --- wild …
Ask Ss to see some pictures to find out the differences. Then compare some of their things with each other.
e.g. Yao Ming is taller than Pan Changjiang.
He also sings more loudly.
A + be(V) + 比较级 + than + B.
Grammar
形容词或副词的比较级形式:
tall taller
fast faster
(一般在词尾 + er )
nice nicer
(以不发音的字母 e 结尾的 + r )
thin thinner
(重读闭音节词词尾只有一个辅音字母时,先双写辅音字母再 + er)
early earlier
(以辅音字母 + y 结尾的单 词,变 y 为 i + er )
outgoing more outgoing
(多音节词和部分双音节词前加more)
Exercises
写出下列单词的比较级。比拼,按组加分。

Ⅲ. Game (I and my desk mate)
Ask Ss to compare with their partners to find out the differences and write down.
e.g. She is heavier than me. I am more outgoing than her.
She gets up earlier than me. I run faster than her.
然后从曲奇蛋里抽放奖品给写得又快又好的同学,同时奖品上附有要求完成写不同句子的小字条,抽到字条的同学上黑板写出句子给同学们展示。并讲评。比拼,按组加分。
插播:老师我很爱幻想,幻想自己有个双胞胎姐妹,可以替自己分担一些工作甚至代替考试等等。渗透法制教育《刑法》对“冒名顶替”的相关法律知识。并顺理成章的邀请班上的一对双胞胎,让同学们用比较级说出她们之间的区别。
Give Ss an example by comparing a pair of twins
e.g. Yuan Yun is taller than Yuan Xia.
Yuan Yun is more outgoing than Yuan Xia.
从而也为下文要求同学们分辨听力部分的三组双胞胎而埋下伏笔。
Ⅳ. Listening
Then listen to the recording. Ask Ss to number the twins.
Check the answers.
Ⅴ. Pair work
1. Point out the sample conversation in activity 1c.
Practice the conversation then make conversations about the other twins.
A: That’s Tara, isn’t it
B: No, it isn’t. It’s Tina. Tina is taller than Tara. And she also sings more loudly than Tara.
2. Say, now work with a partner. Make your own conversation about the twins.
3. Ask several pairs to say one or more of their conversations.
VI. Game
Write and Guess
Write a few sentences to describe your friend, use “ … than me”, and then have the other students guess who your friend is.
