一、教材内容分析
本节课重点继续巩固一般将来时的用法,使学生学会表达对未来生活的预测,通过了解现代科技有关机器人的飞速发展,帮助学生形成正确的职业观和人生观。
对学生的分析
八年级的学生已经掌握了相当多的词汇和英语语法知识,有一定的口语表达能力,可以更好的参与到课堂的教学活动中来.(其中有听力练习也有口语练习。内容相对来说较简单,重点帮助学生继续学习巩固一般将来时的用法,在不断的练习中达到掌握以及熟练运用的目的。)
三、教学目标
1.知识目标(1)学生学习并掌握词汇和短语astronaut, rocket, space, apartment
space station。
(2)学生学习并掌握句型 (1) I’ll be an astronaut.
(2) I’ll live on a space station.
(3) I’ll fly rockets on the moon.
2.能力目标:(1)培养学生正确运用一般将来时态will +do表达对未来生活的预测。
(2)培养学生初步的快速阅读能力。
3.情感目标:通过对将来生活的预测和通过对现代科技有关机器人的飞速发展的了解,使学生形成正确的职业观和努力学习将来投身科技的人生观。
四、教学重点和难点
重点难点:(1)学生正确运用一般将来时态will +do表达对未来生活的预测。
(2)快速阅读能力的培养.
五、教学过程和方法
在本节课的教学过程中,主要采用“小组合作”、Pair work、组与组之间的比赛以及借助多媒体的教学方法,主要通过任务型教学途径来完成本节课的教学目标。

七、教学环节

Before the new class,divide the students into 4 groups, and say the match rules, at the end of the class, decide which one is the winner 。
Step 1. Lead-in
Let the students answer 3 questions asked by the teacher to lead-in the new class.
T:1.What do you want to be in the future
S:I will be a pilot....
T:2.Where will you live
S:I will live in a high building....
T:3.How will you go to work
S:I will go to work by bike....
In the course of this period ,encourage the students to form the valuable work view and the view of live.
Step 2.Presentation
Let the student finish la at first.
(2) Teach the students the new words and phrases.
Teacher prepare some pictures about the new words in the PPT.
T:What is it
rocket, it is the rocket. Read after me ,rocket ....then let them read the new word 3times. By this way ,teach them the new words. Then give the students 3 minutes to remember the new words.
(3)After learning the new words, let the students continue finishing 1a.About 1b,finish it after class.
(4)Listen to 1c and 1d,let the students finish the tasks of them.
The students can answer the questions as quickly as possible. Which group is quicker, then they will get 1 point.
Step 3.Practice
(1)Let the students make dialogs according to1c 、1d and the examples to make dialogs. Then act them out.
Each group decides to choose 1 dialog in turns .The fourth group must choose the third .
Now 3. In 10 years
A: Where do you live A: What do you think your life will be like in 10years.
B: I live in an apartment . B: oh, I think I’ll be an astronaut.
2. 10 years ago A: Where will you live in 10 years
A: Where did you live 10 years ago B: I will live on a space station.
B: I live in Greenville.
A: How did you get to school
B: I took the train to school.
Let the students pay attention to the red words. Give them3 minutes ,each group choose a pair to act the dialog out. Which group is best, they will get 1 point, too.
Step4 Discussion
Let the students discuss the following questions:
A: What do they look like
B: They look like…
A: What can they do
B: They can…
By discussing ,finish 2a.In the course of discussion, each time which group answer 1 question, they will get 1point.
Lead -–into 2b.
Step 5.Read the article and match each paragraph with the question it discusses in 2b
1)Give the students eight minutes to read the article, then finish 2b,teach the students read it with the question .
There are also competitions among groups. Which group can finish 2b quickly and correctly, they can get more than 1 point.
2)Encourage the students to work harder to create better robots to service the humans when they grow up.
Step 6、Summary
(1.)New words and some important sentences.
(2.) Use “will +do” to predict the lives in the future.

(1.) Finish 1b after class.
(2.)写作
内容: 你想要拥有你自己的机器人,跟科学家描述一下你都要求你的机器人会什么技能!
