一、教材内容分析
本课是八年级上册第八单元How do you make a banana milk shake 第一课时,本单元的中心话题是学习询问和描述一种食物的制作过程,本课时学习询问和描述香蕉奶昔的制作过程。主要是祈使句的运用。通过本课的学习进一步培养学生的跨文化知识和综合语言运用能力。
二、教学目标(知识与技能、方法和过程、情感态度与价值观)
1、知识目标:使学生掌握并熟悉运用以下词语和句型: (1)milk shake, blender ,turn on, cut up, peel, pour, into. (2)How do you make a banana milk shake 2、语言技能目标:能运用所学词汇描述奶昔的制作过程,能在真实 情景中熟练运用。 3、情感目标:通过创设情境,学生身临其境感受和体验,使语言学以致用,激发学生的学习积极性。体会在活动中学习英语的乐趣,了解西方人的饮食文化。
三、学生特征分析
由于学生基本都没制作过奶昔,所以学生对该制作过程一点都不了解。因此在讲授过程中,教师亲自动手操作制作奶昔的所有步骤,让学生认真细致的观察,使学生对奶昔的制作过程有所认识,在设计本课时,主要培养学生认真细致的观察以及积极思考的能力。最后安排学生亲自动手操作,培养学生亲自动手操作的能力。
四、教学策略选择与设计
本部分内容教师尽量用实物展示边介绍边讲解,并通过课件边演示边讲授,让学生积极观察思考。教师通过屏幕演示教学内容,在教学中随堂进行学习,一目了然
五、教学重点、难点
重点:学习制作奶昔所需的相关词汇和句型cut up, turn on, blender, put…in, pour…into, milk shake How do you make a banana milk shake 难点:学会制作奶昔,描述其过程。
