一、教学目标:

4) Be able to express their ideas about certain sports with the description words they learned. “That sounds ...”

三、教学过程
StepⅠ. Warm-up
1. Greetings.
2. Revision.
Review the sentence patterns “let’s ...I don’t have...Let’s... That sounds good.”with a chant.
Show some new words with emoji pictures.
Read the words together.
Step Ⅱ. Presentation
1. Share the objectives with the students, so that they’ll join in the class with a purpose, and pay attention to the key words and sentences.
2. Show the picture which a boy is doing an interesting thing on the screen. Learn the new word “interesting” “It’s interesting”. Show other pictures on the screen. Learn the new words “boring, fun, difficult, relaxing, easy” in the same way.
3. Show some activity pictures on the screen. Practice the expression “Let’s play volleyball. Let’s play soccer...” Learn to give suggestions.
4. Look and say.
Practice conversation
“-- Let’s play baseball. --That sounds difficult”
A: Let’s(让咱们) play volleyball.
B: I don’t have a volleyball.
A: Well, let’s play soccer.
B: That sounds good/interesting/fun…
5.Use a summary to review the activities and words of description.
6. Read the words in 1a. Point to the five words in 1a and ask students to repeat each one. Then match each picture with one of the words.
Point to the five pictures and ask students to match them.
Check the answers.
Step Ⅲ. Listening
1. Next we’ll listen to a conversation. Here are two boys in the conversation. What do they want to do Listen.
(Play the recording the first time.) (For the first time, students only listen.)
Listen again and check the words you hear in 1a. (Play the recording again.)
Check the answers.
4. Practice in recognizing specific vocabulary words in conversation and in writing them. First, listen to the recording in 1b. What does Paul say about the activities
(Point to the blanks where the students write their answers.) (Play the recording the first time. Students only listen.)
T: Listen to the conversation and write a word from 1a in each blank. (Play the recording again.)

Step Ⅳ. Pair work
1. T: Act out the conversation in 1c in pairs. You are Paul. Your partner is Paul's friend, Jenny. Talk about the activities in 1c.
