Step1 Revision
Review the sentence pattern: Do you like… Does he/ she like…
Do they like…
Step2 Game
Play a guessing game: Ask a student to guess with the sentence “ Does he/ she like… ” and the others answer Yes or No.
Step3 Work on 1a
1. Write the number of each word next to the correct food.
2. Get a student to give his answer and then check the answers.
3. Ask a student to lead the Ss to read the words.
Step4 Presentation
1. T teaches the sentence patterns: What do you like for breakfast/lunch/dinner I like… for breakfast/lunch/dinner
2. Group work: The Ss ask and answer with the above sentences one by one.
Step5 Work on 1b
1. Ask the Ss to complete 1b by themselves.
2. Check the answers together.
Step6 Listening
1. Get the Ss to listen to the recording and finish 1a.
2. Get the Ss to listen again and finish 1d.
3. Check the answers together.
