Step 1 Preparation
1．Play a video Days of the week: What is the video about It is about the days of a week. How many days are there in a week Seven. What day is it today It is... At first let's learn the seven days of a week.
This activity can cheer students up and arouse their interest in learning the new words.
Step 2 Presentation& Practice
Presentation 1
Learn new words.
Show the class schedule to the students, and lead students to learn the new words: This is Monday/ Tuesday/ Wednesday / Thursday/ Friday/ Saturday / Sunday. We have math at 8:05 A.M. on Monday. We have art at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday. We are very busy from Monday to Friday. But we are free on Saturday and Sunday.
Brainstorm
Ask students the question: What's your favorite teacher/ food/ subject/ singer... Why Why not Collect as many descriptions as we can, and teach the new words: cool and free.
