课时目标:
1.学生们能通过听读理解故事内容,并能表演出来。
2.学生们能通过故事理解会说新词rabbit, carrot和句子Follow me .
3.学生们通过故事知道Zip 的聪明,如果想得到什么就要动脑筋想办法。
教学重难点:
重点是学生们能读懂故事并且理解会说Follow me .
难点是学生们能顺利地讲故事表演出来。
教具准备:课件,实物。
教学步骤:
Step Ⅰ Revision
1.Enjoy a song :Old MacDonald.
2.Let’s chant.
Let’s chant
Look at the cat.It is fat.
Look at the pig.It is big.
Look at the dog.It’s on the log.
Look at the duck.It’s in the truck.
Look at the bear.It’s on the pear.
3.Play a game.看谁反应快。
4.Let’s play a game. I say you do.
5.PPT shows some animals’ pictures, ask and answer .
T:What’s this
Ss:It’s a dog.
T: Cool! I like it.
(设计意图:通过歌曲热身,用学过的chant 和图片来复习动物名称,并且通过学生夸赞动物来复习like 这个词,为后面的学习打好基础。并且呈现了他们没学过的动物兔子,教授Rabbit 这个单词。)
Step Ⅱ Presentation
1.Show the main sentence’s picture of this story .Say, Zoom wants to go to the zoo with his friends. Who follows Zoom
Ss : Pig.
T: Who follows pig
Ss: Dog.
T: Who follows dog
Ss: Duck.
T: Who follows duck
Ss: Rabbit.
T: But at last they all follow Zip. Why Let’s watch the video and find the answer.
2. Play the video and let students watch it.
T:Who can tell why they follow Zip at last
S1:因为Zip的手里有一根胡萝卜,兔子喜欢胡萝卜。
T:Yes,you’re right. Because the rabbit likes carrots.(Write carrot on the blackboard. And teach the Ss to read it rightly.)
T:And they all say: Follow me. Who can tell the meaning of it. Ss:跟着我。
(Write Follow me. on the board and teach it.)
3. Ask the students to read the story.
4.PPT shows the pictures and the students retell the story together.
5.Ask some group to act it out.
(设计意图:通过观看视频,跟读训练来理解故事,并且会复述故事和演出故事。提高学生的语篇阅读能力和理解能力。)
Step Ⅲ Production
Group work: Play a game.滚雪球
Hong Yuxuan: Follow dog.
Zhang Rendong: Follow dog and cat.
Feng Xiaoke: Follow dog, cat and duck. ……
If somebody is wrong, the game will be over.
(如果有人出错,游戏结束) (通过玩游戏来复习巩固今日所学的主要句型,同时设计游戏来激发学生学英语用英语的兴趣,来达到有效的语言输出。)
Step 4 趣味操练 ( Practice)
(1)听力练习:Let's check 先让学生观察 4 幅图片分别出现了什么动物,教师播放录音两次,然后请一两位学生说 出答案。
(2)Look and match 让学生做好根据图片和单词进行连线。
(3)Let’s sing 教师播放歌曲,要求学生模仿歌曲中的动物的声音,然后教唱歌曲, 再试着用其它学过的动物单词进行替换练习。
(4)Story time
①引导学生看 Story time 的图片,回答问题:What animals can you see
②听录音,回答问题:Who follows Zoom?Who follows Zip Do they follow Zip,too
③跟读录音,然后分角色表演。小组练习。最后请一些小组上台表演。
Homework:
Read the story to your parents.(把这个故事读给你的爸爸妈妈听)
