过去进行时
含义 表示在过去某一时刻或某一段时间内正在进行或发生的动作。
构成 was/were+v.-ing
用法 在过去某个时间点正在发生的事情。 What was she doing at nine o'clock yesterday
在复合句中,如图图果主句动作和从句动作都是延续性的或同时发生时,那么主、从句的动词都可以用过去进行时。 He was cleaning his car while I was cooking.
时间状语 at this time yesterday, at six this morning, from nine to ten yesterday evening, at that time等时间状语;when或while引导的时间状语从句等。
情态动词must的用法
用法 用在肯定句中,表示必须。 You must obey the rules.
用在否定句中,表示禁止,不许。 Cars mustn't be parked here.
用在肯定句中,表示推测,意为 “一定;准是”。 You must be tired after the long walk.
注意 回答带有must的一般疑问句时,否定回答常用needn't/don't/doesn't have to,而不用mustn't. —Must I hand in my homework now —Yes, you must./No, you needn't/don't have to.
