Period3(Section B 1a---2b)教学设计
一:教材分析
本单元主要围绕“What are you doing ”这一主题展开各种教学活动。本单元旨在创造一个轻松、愉快的学习、交流环境,通过听、说、读、写来培养学生综合运用这些知识的能力。并让学生能在“做中学”,通过有限的课堂实践活动,注意观察别人的行动,能准确地用英语来表达。
二:学情分析
初一的学生通过将近一学年的学习,已经具备基本的英语学习技能,听、说、读、写能力已经基本形成。他们学习英语既感到好奇又担忧,希望能得到他人的肯定。因此在本节课中我会尽量让他们参与到活动中来,有更多的机会来说英语,减少他们的恐惧感,通过学生间的合作学习,降低他们的学习难度,使他们体验到成功的喜悦。提高他们综合运用语言的能力,使各层次的学生都有所收获。
三:教学目标
1知识目标:
学习并掌握以下词汇shop/supermarket/race/miss/delicious/young
掌握重要句型:What are you doing ----I’m doing my homework.
What time is it in Beijing ----It’s eight o’clock in the morning.
(2)掌握重要短语:
read a story to…miss his family wish to do sth.
Like... a lot
2. 能力目标目标:
① 能用现在进行时的各种形式进行准确的描述和表达正在发生的动作。
② 通过情景中的操练,培养学生的发散思维能力,激发学生的想象力,培养学生的语言交际能力。
3. 情感态度目标
① 有明确的学习目的,能认识到学习英语的目的在于交流,敢于用英语进行表达。
② 通过小组合作来激发学生的学习兴趣,提高学生的合作意识,激发学生们的爱国热情
四:教学重难点
1.教学重点:掌握好重点句型:
What are you doing What’s he / she doing
2.教学难点: 如何用所学句型进行综合运用。
五:教学方法:图片教学法,情景教学法, 小组合作展示。
六:教学过程:
Step 1: Warming up and leading-into the new lesson by showing some pictures----What is the animal doing
(设计思路:上课之前先播放有关动物活动的图片来活跃课堂气氛激发学生的兴趣。为下一环节做好铺垫。)
Step2:Presentation
Task one: Practice the conversation : What is she doing She is shopping.
Where is she shopping She is shopping in the supermarket.
T: (Show some pictures.) What are they doing Where are they... Discuss with your partner.
Then ask some students to practice the conversations according to the pictures.

设计思路:本环节通过给出几幅图片让学生展开对话,图画2两个学生在马路上危险地骑车,老师及时给予提示这样做是危险的,对学生进行了安全教育,提高了同学们的安全意识。既培养了学生的思维能力,给预习的学生提供展示的机会。
Task two : 1.Open your books and turn to page 46 listen to the tape of 1c and complete the chart.

第一遍听听力完成表格,第二遍再听一边然后检查答案是否正确。
设计思路:通过听力训练对目标语言进行了练习巩固,培养了学生的听力能力。
Task three : Make a conversation.
教师引导学生做关于时差的对话引出时差的话题。
A: Hi,**! I’m calling from Sydney.
B: Sydney What time is it there
A: It’s 10:00 p.m.
B: It’s 4:00 a.m. Here in Los Angeles!
A: Oh, I forgot about the time difference. Sorry. Go back to sleep! I’ll e-mail you later.
Look at the clocks and ask your partner about the time in different places.
教师展示钟表图片,引导学生猜测同一时间不同国家和地区的人们正在进行的活动。

设计思路:通过该活动,教师可适时将话题转移到谈论人们正在进行的活动,让学生猜测可以增加活动的趣味性,发展学生的想象力。
Task four:展示朱辉的图片
T: 1.Class, this is Zhu Hui. He is from Shenzhen, but now he's studying in the United States. He's living with an American family. Today is Dragon Boat Festival, Zhu Hui misses his family very much.
Do you know who Dragon Boat Festival is to commemorate

2.Let’s watch a video about Qu Yuan.(观看关于屈原的视频)
3.让学生带着问题快速阅读文章。

设计思路:通过听读加小组合作,既锻炼了学生们的听读能力也提高了合作意识。
Step3: Let’s play a game as usual to relax yourself. (让我们做个游戏吧!)
教师说出游戏规则:
Class, you can chose any of the pictures, and there may be a question in the picture. If you answer the question correctly, you can get a gift. Of course if you are lucky enough you don’t need to answer any questions, and you can get a gift. Do you want to get a gift Come on ,boys and girls! Are you ready Go.
设计思路:通过游戏的形式对所学知识进行训练,让学生用自己身边的人,对对本节课所学知识进行了巩固提升。也是对目标语言进行创新和升华的过程,使语言输入变为输出,使本节课学习进入了高级语言实践阶段,激发了同学们的学习兴趣,提高了学生的语言交际运用能力及生活实际运用能力。使学生在轻松愉快的环境下,体会到成功的喜悦,使课堂气氛再次高涨。
