Step 1 Warming up

Step2 Presentation
Task1: Single consonants
1.Overall sensation
T: Here is Tom’ Family Tree. Look, this is his father. He is a little fat. He is a driver.This is his mother. She is very nice. She has big eyes. This is his brother. He wants to have a big birthday party. He loves fish. Usually he goes fishing.
(设计目的:利用家谱引出已学单词并含有本课所要学习的音标,通过韵律朗读让学生整体感知这四组单辅音的读音。)
2.Show the methods to pronunciation
According to students’ pronunciation, show them the right methods to pronounce.
3. Practice in groups
T: Group leaders stand up to practice with members
4.Rush reading
T: Look at the words in my cards. Pay attention to the sounds of the letters which are underlined. If you can read, please stand up as quickly as you can.

Task 2 Double consonants
1.Experience the sounds of the double consonants in the following words from the with the same sounds family tree: teacher ,juice, sports, friends, dream, travel
2.Read the consonants according to the methods and the pictures
3 Practice in groups and check in different groups.
4.Finding friends
T: If the letters in yellow in the words have the same sound, they will be friends. Please match them.
(设计目的:韵律朗读单词,体会双辅音发音。利用异组之间的互动检查促进本组之间的相互学习“找朋友”巩固学生对双辅音的学习)
Step3 Exercise
1. Listening
T: We should pay attention to some similar sounds. Please read the words in part B. Then let’s have a listening. If the letters in the bold of a pair have the same sound, write
S. If not, write D.
2. Practice saying the sentences
T: We have learnt so many words .It’s time to practice saying the sentences. Please read follow the tape, and then practice reading in a certain rhyme.
3. Tongue twister
T:Read follow me first and then practice in groups.
